With immense pleasure we wish to bring to your kind attention that Govt of Delhi, Social Welfare Ministry is partnering with the Trans Community for The Red Festival 2.0, to be held on December 23, 2018 at DDA Ground, Dwarka, Sec 13.
The festival is a marquee event providing a mass platform to showcase the talents of Trans Community whose voices have hitherto remained unheard to the mainstream society.
Social Welfare Minister, Rajendra Pal Gautam along with the panelists would present the awards to the best performers.
He is dedicated to give equal representation to the underprivileged and deprived sections of the society and working hard to achieve the goals under his acumen.
A panel discussion is organized to share the views and suggestions of eminent personalities from their respective fields to highlight the ways & means thro which society can recalibrate its perspective towards the trans community giving them their desired space as an equal citizen of this nation which is guaranteed to them by the constitution.
This one of its kind platform would give a chance to the citizens of Delhi to interact with LGBTQIA+ community and watch live performances by the Trans for the first time ever. Drag and Transgender performers too will have an open platform for the first time creating history.
We plan to host 10 art forms including 50+ local artists, as well as renowned performers reaching out to a crowd of more than 5000 thro their signature performances.

Panel discussion on ‘Empowerment of Transgender community’ moderated by eminent celebrity anchor with Hon’ble Minister Rajendra Pal Gautam, Dilip Pandey AAP Spokesperson & Writer, Simran Shaikh, Rudrani Chhetri (Transgender activists), Sonal Mehta (CEO, India HIV/AIDS Alliance), Reena Rai (Founder, Miss Transqueen India) and much more.
