Delhi Government’s landmark reforms in education inspires school teachers from Wardha Maharashtra

School teachers from Maharashtra visit Delhi Gov. schools to learn about various innovative programmes

A team of mentor teachers briefs the team from Wardha about the Happiness Curriculum, Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum and Mission Buniyaad.

The team attends smart classes, and interacts with students of Delhi government schools.

New Delhi– Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister of Delhi welcomed a group of school teachers visiting Delhi to learn about the landmark reforms brought about the Delhi government in the field of education. The team of school teachers hailing from Sindi (Railway), Wardha district, Maharashtra arrived in the city on Monday for a four-day visit comprising school visits, a meeting with the Hon’ble Education Minister of Delhi and discussions with officials and teachers.

In the meeting with the Deputy CM that took place here at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday, the team of delegates praised the efforts of the Delhi government for revolutionising the Education sector and bringing about progress by implementing various innovative programmes for the holistic growth and development of the students of the Delhi government schools. In a letter addressed to Shri Manish Sisodia by Chief Officer – Shri Kailash Thawar (Sindi Nagar Parishad), he spoke about the idea behind sending the team to Delhi to learn and adopt from Delhi’s innovative education system.

Shri Manish Sisodia said, “When we came into power in the year 2015, we did not have adequate infrastructure in our schools. But, we have come a long way from there. Today, we have not only installed adequate infrastructure in our schools but we have also succeeded in instilling a feeling of confidence amongst the people through our continued efforts in the educational sector in the last five years. I hope we were able to guide you through this mission to impart quality education to students.”

“Quality education is of utmost importance to improve the quality of life,” he added.

A team of Mentor teachers (from the Delhi Government) guided the group of school teachers from Wardha briefing them about the Happiness curriculum, Mission Buniyad and Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum and their positive impact on the overall growth of the students.

The Mentor teachers also showed the team around to the smart classes installed by the Delhi Government.

The teachers visiting the city were Shri Chandrakant Ubhad, Smt. Vandanana Ubhad , Shri Diwakar Gomase, Shri Jitendra Nagfase, Shri Bhagwant Pawar and Shri Manoj Dhandre. The mentor teachers assisting them were Smt Neeru Lohiya and Shri Khemender Singh.
