Efforts of Delhiites are showing positive results; Dengue under control: CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal
Chief Minister of Delhi, Shri Arvind Kejriwal on Friday inspected his chamber in the Delhi Secretariat as part of the ‘10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 Minute’ campaign. The chief minister replaced stagnant clean water in the flower pots in his office so as to prevent breeding of Dengue mosquitoes in his office.
Sharing pictures of him replacing clean water from flower pots on his official Twitter handle, he wrote, “This year experts had warned us that Dengue is likely to be dangerous. But Delhiites efforts were paying off and so far Delhi has kept Dengue under control.”
In 2015, Delhi had recorded 15,867 cases of Dengue, which came down to under 3,000 in 2018. CM Kejriwal had said earlier this week that experts had warned of a cyclical spike in Dengue this year and that this had led to the government launching a mega drive against Dengue. After launching the campaign on 1st September for residents to inspect their homes, the chief minister had also directed all government offices to conduct the inspection in office spaces on every Friday morning at 11 AM.
During the first week of the Delhi government’s campaign against Dengue, on Friday, 6th September, the Chief Secretary of Delhi, Shri Vijay Kumar Dev had inspected his office and launched the campaign against Dengue in all government and non-governmental offices. Since then, every Friday, all government officials, including the chief secretary have been inspecting their offices.
The Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, Shri Anil Baijal had also directed the Delhi Police and the Delhi Development Authority, both of the agencies that employ as many as 90,000 employees in the city, to ensure maximum participation in the campaign.
The Hon’ble Chief Justice of the Delhi High Court has also issued directions to the entire judiciary of Delhi to participate in the campaign by conducting inspections in offices every Friday morning at 11 AM.
डेंगू के खिलाफ अभियान के तहत सीएम ने किया कार्यालय का निरीक्षण
- सीएम ने कहा, दिल्लीवासियों के प्रयास का सकारात्मक परिणाम दिख रहा है, नियंत्रण में है डेंगू : डेंगू के खिलाफ अभियान के तहत शुक्रवार को मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने दिल्ली सचिवालय में अपने कार्यालय का निरीक्षण किए। मुख्यमंत्री ने अपने कार्यालय में फूलों के बर्तनों में मौजूद स्थिर पानी को बदला। जिससे कार्यालय में डेंगू के मच्छरों को पनपने से रोका जा सके। उन्होंने ट्विटर पर इससे संबंधित फोटो को साझा कर लिखा कि इस साल विशेषज्ञों ने हमें चेतावनी दी थी कि डेंगू खतरनाक होने की संभावना है। लेकिन दिल्लीवासियों के प्रयासों से अब तक दिल्ली ने डेंगू को नियंत्रण में रखा गया है।
2015 में दिल्ली में डेंगू के 15,867 मामले दर्ज किए गए थे। 2018 में यह 3,000 से कम हो गए थे।
मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने इस सप्ताह की शुरुआत में कहा था कि विशेषज्ञों ने इस साल डेंगू में एक चक्रीय स्पाइक की चेतावनी दी थी। इस कारण सरकार ने डेंगू के खिलाफ 10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 Minute मेगा ड्राइव लांच किया। अपने घर का निरीक्षण करने के लिए 1 सितंबर को अभियान शुरू करने के बाद, मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी सरकारी कार्यालयों को हर शुक्रवार सुबह 11 बजे कार्यालय स्थानों में निरीक्षण का निर्देश दिया था।
डेंगू के खिलाफ दिल्ली सरकार के अभियान के पहले सप्ताह के दौरान, शुक्रवार, 6 सितंबर को, दिल्ली के मुख्य सचिव, श्री विजय कुमार देव ने अपने कार्यालय का निरीक्षण किया और सभी सरकारी और गैर-सरकारी कार्यालयों में डेंगू के खिलाफ अभियान चलाया। तब से, प्रत्येक शुक्रवार मुख्य सचिव सहित सभी सरकारी अधिकारी अपने कार्यालयों का निरीक्षण कर रहे हैं।
दिल्ली के उपराज्यपाल श्री अनिल बैजल ने अभियान में अधिकतम भागीदारी सुनिश्चित करने के लिए दिल्ली पुलिस और दिल्ली विकास प्राधिकरण को भी निर्देशित किया है। इनके दिल्ली में 90,000 कर्मचारी कार्यरत हैं। दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय के माननीय मुख्य न्यायाधीश ने दिल्ली की पूरी न्यायपालिका को हर शुक्रवार सुबह 11 बजे कार्यालयों में निरीक्षण कर अभियान में हिस्सा लेने के निर्देश दिए हैं।
