नई दिल्ली – दिल्ली के पूठ कलां में अब खिलाड़ियों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर की सुविधाएं मिलेंंगी। यहां अब सिंथेटिक एथलेटिक ट्रैेक पर खिलाड़ी दौड़ पाएंगे। साथ ही फूटबाल का आधुनिक मैदान बनाया जाएगा। जहां आधुनिक नैचुरल घांस लगाया जाएगा। लांग जंप, हाई जंप, स्टिप्ल चेप व अन्य खेलों में आधुनिक सुविधाओं का इस्तेमाल कर खिलाड़ी खुद को अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्पर्धा के लिए तैयार कर पाएंंगें। यह सब दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की खिलाड़ियों और खेल को बढ़ावा देने वाली सोच और काम की वजह से संभव हो पाया। इस कार्यक्रम में उप-मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया, ओलंपिक पदक विजेता सुशील कुमार भी मौजूद थें। दिल्ली सरकार की ओर से खेल और खिलाड़ियों के विकास के लिए किए जा रहे काम की सुशील कुमार ने जमकर सराहना की।
मुख्यमंत्री केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट कर लिखा, दिल्ली देहात के पूठ कलां गांव में दिल्ली के कई चैंपियन खिलाड़ियों के साथ मिल कर आज एक शानदार स्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स का शिलान्यास किया। पिछले पाँच वर्षों में दिल्ली में ख़ासकर दिल्ली देहात में अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के स्टेडियम तैयार किए हैं। बचपन से ही प्रतिभाशाली बच्चों को चिन्हित कर उन्हें भविष्य के लिए तैयार करने के लिए दिल्ली में हमने एक नई योजना शुरू की है। इसके तहत 357 प्रतिभाशाली बच्चों को चिन्हित करके ट्रेनिंग के लिए आर्थिक सहायता दे रहे हैं। हमें उम्मीद है ये भविष्य में भारत के लिए मेडल लेकर आएँगे।
जो 70 साल मैं नहीं हुआ वह पांच साल में हुआ
मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि सिंथेटिक एथलेटिक ट्रैेक और फूटबाल मैदान का निर्माण समय से पूरा करा दिया जाएगा। 2015 में मैं गांव – गांव वोट मांंगने जाता था तो युवा शिकायत करते थे कि दिल्ली में खेल की सुविधाएं नहीं हैं। मैंने वादा किया था कि आप की सरकार बनेगी तो खेल सुविधाओं को इतना बेहतर कर दिया जाएगा, जितना 70 साल में किसी सरकार ने नहीं किया। पिछले पांच साल में हमने दिल्ली के गांव – गांव में खेल की ढेर सारी सुविधाएं विकसित कर दी हैं। नजबगढ़ में स्पोर्टस कांप्लेक्स, मुंडेला में फूटबाल मैदान, नजबगढ़ स्टेडियम समेत पूरी दिल्ली के गांव – गांव में खेल की अंतरराष्ट्रीय सुविधाएं विकसित हो गई हैं। नरेला विधानसभा में एक स्टेडियम तहस – नहस पड़ा था। उसे आधुनिक बनाया जा रहा है। सरकारी स्कूलों में खेल की इतनी सुविधाएं विकसित कर दी हैं, जितना 70 साल में नहीं हुआ है।
खेल प्रतिभाओं के साथ खड़ी है सरकार
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि आज इस मंच पर ओलंपिक से लेकर काँमन्वेलथ में पुरस्कार जीतने वाले खिलाड़ी बैठे हैं। आज इनको पूरा देश पूछता है। लेकिन पहला मैडल लाने से पहले इन्हें कितना संघर्ष करना पड़ा, यह इनका दिल जानता है। दिल्ली के किसी प्रतिभावान बच्चे के साथ ऐसा न हो, इसके लिए हमने मिशन एक्सलेंस योजना शुरू की है। इसके तहत कोई भी प्रतिभावान बच्चा है तो उसके खाने से लेकर ट्रेनिंग तक का सारा खर्च दिल्ली सरकार उठा रही है। दिल्ली के बच्चे प्रतिभा दिखाएं, उनका सारा खर्च सरकार उठाएगी।
एक घंटे जरूर करे व्यायाम
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा मेरा दो सपना है, एक आम जनता सा दूसरा मंच पर बैठे राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ियों से। दिल्ली के लोंगो से सपना है कि हर दिन सबेरे सबेरे 1 घंटे जरूर खेल लिया करें। मैं भी योगा करता हूं। आप फूटबाल खेल लो, कब्बड्डी खेल लो, टहल लें, कुश्ती कर लें, क्रिकेट खेल लो। कुछ न कुछ जरूर खेल लो। दिल्ली में हर आदमी को खेलना है। बुजुर्ग व्यायाम कर लें।
दस साल में देश के बराबर दिल्ली लाए मेडल
मेरा दूसरा सपना है कि ओलंपिक में भारत का पूरा मेडल दिल्ली लेकर आए। हमने इतना काम कर दिया है कि यह बेहद आसान काम हो गया है। ओलंपिक में मैं देखता हूं चीन, इंग्लैंड, जापान के इतने मेडल लेकिन भारत पदक तालिका में नीचे रह जाता है। अब दिल्ली को यह काम करके दिखाना है। जिससे भारत का सम्मान पूरी दुनिया में बढ़े। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा मैं इस मंच से घोषणा करता हूं कि जो भी दिल्ली का बच्चा ओलंपिक में पदक ला सकता है, उसकी अब सारी जिम्मेदारी दिल्ली सरकार की है। वह बस मेरे पास आ जाए। दिल्ली को अगले दस साल में इतने मेडल लाना है कि पूरी दुनिया में भारत का नाम रोशन हो। इसके लिए सरकार आपके साथ है।
आप की सरकार ने खिलाड़ियों के लिए पांच गुना बढ़ाई मदद – मनीष सिसोदिया
इस दौरान उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि इस मैदान ने कई राष्ट्रीय खिलाड़ी दिए लेकिन इसके विकास के लिए किसी सरकार ने नहीं सोचा। अब छह माह में यह मैदान अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर का बन जाएगा। 2015 में जब आप की सरकार बनी थी तो खिलाड़ियों को बेहद छोटी राशि पुरस्कार के तौर पर मिलती थी। हमने इसे तीन से पांच गुना तक बढ़ा दिया है। हमने योजना बनाई की खिलाड़ियों को जब जरूरत हो तब मदद मिले। हमारी सरकार आज दिल्ली के 117 खिलाड़ियों को स्पांसर कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा हम बच्चों के लिए खेलो और आगे बढ़ो स्कीम लेकर आए। अब तीन दिन पहले स्पोर्टस यूनिवर्सिटी लेकर आए। अब बच्चों को खेल प्रतिभा के आधार पर डिग्री मिलेगी।

दिल्ली में खेल और खिलाड़ियों के लिए जारी योजनाएं
नकद प्रोत्साहन
इस योजना के तहत दिल्ली के पदक विजेता खिलाड़ियों को नकद प्रोत्साहन प्रदान किया जाता है। पिछले साल, दिल्ली के 3464 पदक विजेता खिलाड़ियों को 9.36 करोड़ रुपये की राशि दी गई। इसके साथ ही 19.17 करोड़ की राशि एशियाई खेलों और राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों -2018 के पदक विजेताओं को दी गई है। हाल ही में खिलाड़ियों को उनकी (1) ओलंपिक खेलों और पैरालंपिक खेलों (ii) एशियाई खेलों और पैरा एशियाई खेलों (पैरा) व राष्ट्रमंडल खेलों तथा पैरा एथलीटों और उनके कोचों के लिए नकद प्रोत्साहन की राशि को संशोधित किया गया है।
मिशन एक्सेलेंस
इस योजना में विशेष प्रशिक्षकों से प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय टूर्नामेंटों के लिए वित्तीय सहायता दी जाती है। इस योजना के तहत 117 खिलाड़ियों को 9.51 करोड़ रुपये प्रदान किए गए हैं।
स्कूली छात्रों के लिए योजना
स्कूली छात्रों को वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए एक नई योजना भी शुरू की गई है। इसमें 14 वर्ष से कम आयु वर्ग के लिए 2 लाख रुपये का प्रावधान है। अंडर 17 के लिए 3 लाख का प्रावधान है । प्रतिभाशाली छात्रों को बढ़ावा देने और उन्हें तैयार करने के लिए प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त करने के लिए इस योजना के तहत आर्थिक मदद दी जाती है। इस योजना के तहत 357 खिलाड़ियों को 8.72 करोड़ रुपये प्रदान किए गए हैं।

NEW DELHI – Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the renovation of Delhi’s Pooth Kalan sports complex. The sports complex is being refurbished to provide modern sports facilities to the players. Renovation on the improvement of infrastructures such as the laying of synthetic athletic tracks, foot-land, natural grass, and remodeling sports grounds and equipment will be carried out.
The Chief Minister said that the modern renovations will help students and sportspersons prepare for international competitions in sports such as long jump, high jump, stipple throw, hammer and discus throw, etc.
Chief Minister lays Pooth Kalan foundation stone on Saturday
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal along with Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the Pooth Kalan sports complex. Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar was also present at the occasion. He praised the work done by the Delhi government to encourage sports in Delhi.
During the ceremony, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that the construction of synthetic athletic track and football field will be completed in time. “When I used to campaign across villages in Delhi back in 2015, many youths complained that there are not ample sports facilities in the city. I promised them that if AAP forms a government we will improve the sports facilities as much as no other government has done in the last 70 years. We have developed a lot of sports facilities in the village of Delhi in the last five years. International sports facilities have been developed in the villages across Delhi, including the sports complex in Najafgarh, the football ground in Mundela, and the Najafgarh Stadium. A stadium in Narela is being reconstructed. Government schools have developed as many sports facilities as they had not in the last 70 years,” said the Chief Minister.
Welcoming prominent Olympic and Commonwealth medalists to the ceremony, the Chief Minister said, “Today, the whole country celebrates their achievements. But only they know how much they had to struggle before they won the first medal. We have launched the Mission Excellence Scheme to ensure a talented child does not have to go through the same. The Delhi government is bearing all their expenses from food to training.
The Chief Minister also appealed to the students and the people of Delhi to actively play sports for at least one hour a day. “I also wish that Delhi wins all the medals for India in the Olympics. The sports facilities in Delhi have made this possible now. Delhi has to leave big medal-winner countries like China, England and Japan in the Olympics to gain that respect for India. Whoever can do that, is our responsibility now. The Government is with you in this,” said the Chief Minister
Five times more help for the players – Dy CM Manish Sisodia
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that the sports field gave birth to many national players but no government thought of its development. “Now, the complex will be completed in six months in Delhi. When your government was formed in 2015, the players received a very small amount as cash prizes. We have increased it over to three to five times. We planned to help the players when needed. Our Government is sponsoring 117 sportspersons from Delhi. We have also initiated the ‘Khelo Aur Aage Badho’ scheme for students. We also inducted the proposal for Delhi Sports University, where the students will get degrees based on the sports they want to pursue,” said the Dy CM.

Current schemes for sports and sportspersons in Delhi
Cash incentive
Under the scheme, cash incentives are provided to the medal-winning sportspersons of Delhi. Last year, 3464 medalists from Delhi were offered Rs 9.36 crore as incentives. Along with this, Rs 19.17 crore has been given to the medal winners of the Asian Games and Commonwealth Games-2018. Recently, the amount of cash incentive for sportspersons for (1) Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (ii) Asian Games and Para Asian Games (Para) and Commonwealth Games and Para Athletes and their coaches have been revised.
Mission Excellence
Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 16 lakh per year will be provided to the outstanding sportspersons for achieving excellence in international tournaments. Training from specialized trainers and participation in international tournaments. Financial assistance of Rs. 9.51 crore has been provided to 117 sportspersons.
Schemes for School Students
A new scheme has also been launched to provide financial assistance to school students. It has a provision of Rs.2 lakh for students under the age group of 14 years. There is a provision of Rs 3 lakh for under 17 years. Financial assistance is provided under the scheme to promote and prepare talented students. Under the scheme, Rs 8.72 crore has been provided to 357 sportspersons.
The foundation stone for the renovation of Pooth Kalan sports complex was laid today in the presence of many prominent Olympics and Commonwealth medalists.
“Many stadiums of international standards have been constructed and inaugurated across the villages in Delhi in the last five years. The Delhi government has launched a new scheme in Delhi for sports enthusiast children and prepare them for their future. Under the scheme, 357 talented children are being provided financial assistance for training. We hope to bring a medal for India in the future,” said CM Arvind Kejriwal
