CM केजरीवाल के डेंगू के खिलाफ अभियान को मिला वीरेंद्र सहवाग का साथ, सीएम ने किया थैंक्स
- चैंपियन वीरेंद्र सहवाग की अपील डेंगू के खिलाफ आप भी बने चैंपियन
: मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के ’10 हफ्ते 10 बजे 10 मिनट ‘ अभियान को पूर्व क्रिकेटर वीरेंद्र सहवाग का साथ मिला है। वीरेंद्र सहवाग ने वीडियो जारी कर लोगों से डेंगू के खिलाफ लड़ने और चैंपियन बनने की अपील की है। उन्होंने लोगों से अपने पड़ोसियों को भी जागरूक करने की अपील की है। जिससे पूरी दिल्ली मिलकर डेंगू के खिलाफ लड़ सके।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने ट्वीट कर वीरेंद्र सहवाग को धन्यवाद किया। साथ ही लिखे कि मुझे विश्वास है कि दिल्ली के युवा आपका संदेश सुनकर युवा 10 हफ्ते 10 बजे 10 मिनट ‘ अभियान में और उत्साह से जुड़ेंगे। ध्यान रहे कि सीएम के अभियान की वजह से इस वर्ष डेंगू के मामलों की आश्चर्यजनक कमी आई है। दिल्ली नगर निकायों के एंटी मलेरिया मुख्यालय की ओर से जारी रिपोर्ट के अनुसार इस हफ्ते डेंगू के सिर्फ 74 ताजा मामले ही सामने आए हैं। इस साल अक्टूबर के पहले सप्ताह तक यह आंकड़ा 356 तक ही पहुंचा है। 2018 में इस समय तक करीब 650 मामले सामने आ चुके थे।
डॉक्टरों और विशेषज्ञों ने इस साल सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल को चेतावनी दी थी कि डेंगू का 3-4 साल का चक्र होता है। दिल्ली में इस साल ज्यादा प्रकोप का अनुमान है। दिल्ली सरकार ने अपने स्तर पर डेंगू से लड़ने के लिए मेगा कार्यक्रम शुरू किया। 10 हफ्ते 10 बजे 10 मिनट ‘ के अभियान की परिकल्पना अर्थ आवर की तर्ज पर की गई। जहाँ लोगों को बड़े पैमाने पर प्रोत्साहित किया गया कि वे अपने घरों का हर रविवार सुबह 10 बजे दस मिनट के लिए, लगातार दस हफ्तों तक निरीक्षण करें। सीएम ने कहा कि मुझे पूरा विश्वास है कि इस अभियान के प्रभाव केवल इस वर्ष तक सीमित नहीं होंगे। जागरूकता के कारण इस अभियान से दिल्ली को हर साल डेंगू से लड़ने में मदद मिलेगी। अभियान का सबसे महत्वपूर्ण उद्देश्य डेंगू मच्छर की उत्पत्ति के बारे में लोगों को शिक्षित करना था।
विभिन्न हस्तियों का मिल चुका है डेंगू के खिलाफ समर्थन
मुख्यमंत्री के इस अभियान को विभिन्न हस्तियों और राजनीतिक नेताओं की ओर से समर्थन मिला है। जिसमें भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के पूर्व कप्तान कपिल देव, बॉलीवुड के सितारे तापसी पन्नू, इमरान हाशमी, राहुल देव, महेश भट्ट, पत्रकार राजदीप सरदेसाई, फेय डिसूजा जैसी हस्तियां भी शामिल हैं। इन्होंने सोशल मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म पर एंटी डेंगू अभियान को बढ़ावा दिया। लोगों क्या इस अभियान में जुड़कर डेंगू के खिलाफ लड़ने की अपील की। सीएम के अनुरोध पर उपराज्यपाल श्री अनिल बैजल ने भी अभियान के समर्थन में अपने आधिकारिक निवास का निरीक्षण किया ।

Virender Sehwag appeals to citizens of Delhi to be champions in the fight against Dengue
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal through his tweet on Thursday thanked former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag for supporting the #10Hafte10Baje10Minute campaign against Dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases in the capital.
CM Kejriwal tweeted, “I thank Virender Sehwag Ji for giving his voice to our campaign against Dengue. I strongly believe that after listening to your message, the youth of Delhi will join the #10Hafte10Baje10Minute campaign with more enthusiasm and vigor.”
Former vice-captain of the Indian cricket team Virender Sehwag has appealed to people to join in and support the #10Hafte10Baje10Minute campaign against Dengue through a video, by inspecting their houses for a breeding ground for disease-carrying mosquitoes. Through his video appeal, he has also called on to the people of Delhi to become Champions by urging others to join the campaign too. The Champion campaign envisages that citizens should reach out to 10 of their friends and ask them to check their premises for signs of stagnant water.
The CM had recently stated that doctors and experts had warned him of the danger due to the 3-4 year cycle of dengue. The #10Hafte10Baje10Minute campaign was conceived on the lines of ‘Earth Hour’ to ensure this doesn’t happen.
The #10Hafte10Baje10Minute campaign has resulted in a massive reduction in the number of Dengue cases in the city. Cooperation from citizens of Delhi in the campaign has led to a stark decrease in the number of cases, which were only 356 till October this year against 650 in October 2018. CM Kejriwal has time and again credited the achievements of the campaign to the active participation by citizens and celebrities.
Various celebrities have joined in support of the campaign
Delhi CM Kejriwal’s #10Hafte10Baje10Minute campaign has garnered tremendous support from celebrities across fields from all over the nation. Taapsee Pannu, Emraan Hashmi, Kapil Dev, Shatrughan Sinha, Javed Akhtar, Swara Bhaskar, Mahesh Bhatt, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, and several other celebrities have supported the campaign against Dengue.
Delhi LG Anil Baijal had also positively responded to CM’s appeal to join the mega drive against Dengue.
