AAP National Spokesperson and South Delhi Lok Sabha Candidate addressed the media at Aam Aadmi Party Headquarters today on the issue of Mass Voter Deletion Fraud. In the Press Conference he said:
I ask the Election Commission, ‘Is it not true that names of over 22 lakh voters were missing from the voter list during the recently concluded elections in Telangana? Didn’t the senior most official of State Election Commission of Telangana publicly acknowledge the mass wrongful deletions from the voter list and issue an apology for the same? Can the Election Commission deny that such a grave electoral offence was committed which completely destroyed the sanctity and integrity of the democratic process of conducting elections.
Is it not true that world famous badminton player Jwala Gutta and her family weren’t permitted to vote despite confirming that they had successfully checked their names on the official EC website before coming to cast their vote? According to the International sports star, her name was there in the list provided on the official website but was missing from the list on the election booth on the day of the election. Resultant, she was not allowed to enter the election booth or cast her vote as is her democratic right.
We unearthed the mass voter deletion fraud and exposed the BJP’s dirty trick of getting more 30 lakh voters have been deleted from voter list. When Chief Minister Arvind Kejrwial received multiple complaints from voters that their names were missing from the voter list, he ordered a preliminary enquiry and it was discovered that a large scale operation for fraudulent deletion of voters from Delhi’s electoral roll was underway.
When democratically elected AAP government tried to set up a detailed enquiry into this grave matter, CEC responded to our initiative by directing officials to not pursue any inquiries into the matter. With a written memo, the officials were asked to refrain from conducting any search into the matter of fraudulent mass voter deletion. It raises a simple question, what is their interest in this? Is it not in fact their prerogative to ensure clean and unbiased elections? Incumbents come and go,officials change but Election Commission is beyond and above this. It’s integrity, credibility and neutrality must be protected in the world’s largest democracy.
While they try to shut down inquiry into this matter, can they possibly deny that over 22 lakh people were removed form Telangana’s voter list? Can they say with certainty that more than 30 lakh voters have not been deleted fro Delhi’s electoral rolls? How do they explain the wrongful removal of our Tughlakabad MLA Sahiram Pehalwan’s son’s and sister in law’s name from the voter list when they continue to live in the same house as ever?
Will the Election Commission step up and initiate an enquiry against officers who are committing this crime in collusion with the BJP? While EC may have permitted BJP to kill democracy in Telangana, but in Delhi we have AAP and we will not permit BJP to snatch people’s democratic right to vote. We will protect democracy at any and every cost.
It is undeniable that BJP has removed names from voter lists to the tune of 25% of the electorate. But CM Arvind Kejriwal will fight against the EC and ensure that all those who’s names have been wrongfully removed by the BJP are reinstated and be allowed to exercise their democratic right to vote.
BJP thought that they will get away with such a fraud, but CM Arvind Kejriwal unearthed the scam six months ago and since then BJP has been agitated. There is no doubt that the people of Delhi will give befitting reply for BJP’s illegal actions by voting them out in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
We had produced and presented a list of names of 24 lakh people who’s votes had been deleted to corroborate our statements. Our claim was further corroborated around two weeks ago when Election Commission put the draft electoral list in the public domain and it was discovered that there is a net decrease in the number of voters instead of increase, for the first time in the history of Delhi. Delhi witnesses large scale migration to the state and more and more people attain the age maturity every year so it was shocking to discover that the number of voters had reduced instead of increasing. This proves our claim that officials of EC, in collusion with BJP, have removed names from the electoral roll of Delhi.
To Election Commission, I say, you must maintain the neutrality and integrity of the institution. Some officials may act as BJP agents or spokespersons, I urge them to officially join BJP, but not to misuse such an important institution to steal people’s democratic rights.
AAP, which was elected with people’s mandate will continue to reach out to every one whose names have been wrongfully deleted from the voter list and reinstate their constitutional right to franchise which has been stolen by the BJP via door to door campaign, emails, phones, texts, etc. BJP is expressing issues with this as they stand exposed and their scheme is failing. People will vote out those who are removing names from the voters list.
Lastly, what happened in Telangana will not be allowed to happen in Delhi. EC must remember that officers change, governments change but we must protect the integrity of institutions.

नई दिल्ली, 9 फरवरी, शनिवार को एक प्रेस वार्ता में पत्रकारों को संबोधित करते हुए दक्षिणी दिल्ली के लोकसभा प्रभारी राघव चड्ढा ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी कई बार प्रेस वार्ता करके, साक्ष्यों के साथ इस बात को सिद्ध कर चुकी है कि चुनाव आयोग भाजपा के दबाव में काम कर रहा है, और एक षड्यंत्र के तहत चुनाव आयोग ने दिल्ली की मतदाता सूची से 30 लाख लोगो के नाम गैर-कानूनी तरीके से काट दिए।
आज से लगभग 6 महीने पहले जब दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल के पास इस सम्बन्ध में शिकायत आई तो उन्होंने एक कमिटी का गठन करके इसी जांच करवाई। जाँच में पाया गया कि एक षड्यंत्र के तहत दिल्ली से लगभग 30 लाख लोगो को नाम गैर-कानूनी तरीके से मतदाता सूची से काट दिया गया है। जब केजरीवाल जी ने इस सम्बन्ध में और गहराई से जांच करने का सोचा तो चुनाव आयोग ने तानाशाह तरीके से दिल्ली सरकार के सारे अधिकारीयों को एक सूचना जारी करके ये आदेश दिया कि आप अरविन्द केजरीवाल की, वोटर डिलीशन जांच की किसी भी समिति का हिस्सा नहीं बनेंगे, और किसी भी प्रकार की जांच में केजरीवाल की मदद नहीं करेंगे।
चुनाव आयोग को चुनौती देते हुए राघव चड्ढा ने कहा कि चुनाव आयोग में अफसर आते जाते रहते हैं, लेकिन चुनाव आयोग एक सम्मानित संसथान है। हर देश वासी का यह कर्तव्य बनता है कि हम चुनाव आयोग की गरिमा को बना कर रखें। क्या चुनाव आयोग इस बात से इंकार कर सकता है कि तेलंगाना में चुनाव आयोग ने 22 लाख लोगो के नाम मतदाता सूची से काट दिए? क्या चुनाव आयोग इस बात से इनकार कर सकता है कि चुनाव आयोग ने दिल्ली में भी गैर कानूनी तरीके से 30 लाख लोगों के नाम मतदाता सूची से काट दिए हैं।
राघव चड्ढा ने चुनाव आयोग के सम्मुख कुछ प्रश्न रखे जो निम्न प्रकार से हैं…..
1-: क्या यह सच नहीं है कि हाल ही में तेलंगाना में हुए चुनावों में, 22 लाख लोगो को नाम गैर-कानूनी तरीके से मतदाता सूची से काटा गया?
2-: क्या ये सच नहीं है कि तेलंगाना में रहने वाली, विश्व प्रसिद्ध बेडमिन्टन खिलाडी “ज्वाला गुट्टा” का नाम भी मतदाता सूची से काट दिया गया था?
3-: क्या चुनाव आयोग का ये कर्तव्य नहीं है कि देश में निष्पक्ष चुनाव हो, क्या चुनाव आयोग को किसी एक दल की पैरवी करनी चाहिए?
4-: क्या चुनाव आयोग में इतनी क्षमता है कि दोषी अफसरों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्यवाही कर सके, जिन्होंने भाजपा के साथ मिलकर ये गैर-कानूनी कृत्य किया?
5-: क्या यह सच नहीं है कि तेलंगाना के चुनाव अधिकारी ने इस गैर-कानूनी कृत्य को स्वीकार करते हुए जनता से माफ़ी मांगी थी?
चुनाव आयोग के जो अफसर भाजपा के साथ मिले हुए हैं, उनको सीधे तौर पर चुनौती देते हुए राघव चड्ढा ने कहा, जो भी अफसर इस गैर-कानूनी काम में भाजपा की मदद कर रहे हैं, अगर हिम्मत है तो वो लोग खुल कर सामने आएं। चुनाव आयोग की नौकरी छोड़कर भाजपा ज्वाइन करें, और चुनावी मैदान में उतरकर आम आदमी पार्टी का सामना करें। इस प्रकार से संवेधानिक संस्थाओं का दुरूपयोग करके जनता का अधिकार छीनने का काम न करें।
राघव चड्ढा ने मीडिया के माध्यम से चुनाव आयोग को चेताते हुए कहा कि आपने तेलंगाना में भाजपा को लोकतंत्र की हत्या करने दी, लेकिन दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार है और आम आदमी पार्टी किसी भी प्रकार से दिल्ली में भाजपा को लोकतंत्र की हत्या नहीं होने देगी। मैं चुनाव आयोग से बड़े ही स्पष्ट तरीके से यह कहना चाहता हूँ कि चुनाव आयोग की सहायता से जो भाजपा दिल्ली के लोगों का संवैधानिक अधिकार, वोट देने का अधिकार छीनने की कोशिश कर रही है,. आम आदमी पार्टी ऐसा कतई नहीं होने देगी। दिल्ली में जिन तीस लाख लोगों के नाम भाजपा ने वोटर लिस्ट से कटवाएं हैं, आम आदमी पार्टी घर घर जाकर उन लोगों के नाम दौबारा से मतदाता सूची में जुडवाने का काम कर रही है! आम आदमी पार्टी हर नागरिक को उसका संवेधानिक अधिकार वापस दिलाने का काम कर रही है!
