BJP is fooling residents of unauthorised colonies in the name of registration

The Aam Aadmi Party on Saturday held Dhoka Divas across Delhi protesting against the frauds done by the Bharatiya Janata Party. BJP is fooling the residents of unauthorised colonies in the name of registration and AAP exposed this gimmick. AAP held protest, rallies and Jan Sabhas across all the Vidhan Sabha constituencies of Delhi. All the prominent leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party, cabinet ministers, MPs, MLAs, councillors and thousands of volunteers took part in this agitation against the BJP.
Deputy CM and senior AAP leader Mr Manish Sisodia led the Dhokha Diwas protest at Sangam Vihar, Rajya Sabha MP Mr Sanjay Singh led the protest at Burari, Cabinet Minister and AAP Delhi convenor Mr Gopal Rai led the protest at Bawana. At Janak Puri, senior leader Mr Pankaj Gupta led the protest. Senior AAP leader Mr Dilip Pandey was leading the protest at Mohan Garden, Vikaspuri. Saurabh Bharadwaj, senior party leader and MLA from Greater Kailash led the Dhokha Diwas protest at Deoli.
“The BJP is following the footsteps of the Congress party. Earlier the Congress party cheated the residents of unauthorised colonies by distributing provisional certificate in the name of registration. Now the BJP is doing the same kind of fraud by initiating an online registration process. If the BJP is really willing to regularise the unauthorised colonies of Delhi then they should immediately start proper registration process and stop this gimmick of online registration,” said AAP Delhi convenor Mr Gopal Rai.
“Today in this Dhoka Divas we are reaching out to the people of unauthorised colonies and exposing the lies of the BJP. We do not want that the residents of unauthorised colonies to be cheated again by the BJP. The Aam Aadmi Party is working for the development of the residents of unauthorised colonies from the time we came to power. Projects worth nearly 6000 crore rupees which include laying water pipelines, sewage lines, building of roads, and other development works are going on at the unauthorised colonies. The Aam Aadmi Party will not tolerate any kind of fraud with the residents of unauthorised colonies by the BJP,” said senior AAP leader and Delhi’s Deputy CM Mr Manish Sisodia.
“It is unfortunate that the leaders of BJP are lying to the residents of unauthorised colonies. In 2015 when the Aam Aadmi Party came to power, we fulfilled our manifesto commitment on the regularisation of the unauthorised colonies. The government made the plan and send it to the Centre for approval. The central government sat on the file for more than four years and now just before the election they have announced the regularisation of unauthorised colonies. This is not the first time the parties are cheating the people of unauthorised colonies. Earlier too, Congress party under Mrs Shiela Dikshit used to reach out to the residents of unauthorised colonies right before elections, and would assure them that the registration process will be done by distributing provisonal ceritificates but after election they never followed up on their promises. The BJP has also done the same but in reality nothing has happened on the ground. The BJP is not clear about whether they will finish the registration process before December or not,” said Rajya Sabha MP Mr Sanjay Singh.
Senior party leader and MLA from Greater Kailash Mr Saurabh Bharadwaj was of the view that it is high time that BJP’s fraud is exposed.
“We believe that the BJP is cheating the people who stay in unauthorised colonies by giving this political gimmick of online registration and we also believe that if the BJP wants to give the rights to the residents of unauthorised colonies then they must finish the process of registration by December. DDA which is under the BJP-led Central government is just trying to safeguard the BJP’s interests by this pre-poll gimmick of online registration. Eventually, the end the residents of the unauthorised colonies will get nothing from this online registration. We have told the residents of unauthorised colonies that AAP will stand with them shoulder to shoulder with them in their struggle and not allow BJP to continue with this fraud,” he said.
