The Maithili Purvanchali community felicitated Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today
New Delhi: The Maithili Purvanchal Community met Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party National Convener today at the chief minister’s residence to felicitate him for the decision taken by the Delhi government to introduce Maithili as an optional language in Delhi government schools. Several other decisions were announced by the government earlier this week to promote the use of Maithili in the national capital.
During the function, the chief minister said in reference to the Delhi government’s decision to prepare for large scale registries of homes in unauthorized colonies, “The biggest beneficiaries of the opening of registries will be the Purvanchalis who have made Delhi their home, since most migrants in the city live in these colonies. Soon the residents of unauthorized colonies will get ownership rights. Whenever a person comes to Delhi to build a future, their biggest dream is to own a house of their own. Purvanchalis have expressed their faith in the Aam Aadmi Party in a big way and it has always been a cause of concern for me whether I will be able to fulfil their dreams. I am very happy that the 10 million people living in Delhi’s unauthorized colonies will now get ownership rights.”
Stating the Delhi government’s vision for the promotion of Maithili, the chief minister said, “Delhi is the first government that has made Maithili an optional language. The government will soon launch an Academy for Maithili students, in which they will be able to prepare for IAS exams in Maithili language. On the one hand, Maithili has been given its rightful due in the form of an optional language and on the other hand, the Purvanchali community too is being benefitted by opening of registry of homes.”
On this occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said, “It is very unfortunate that the Opposition is opposing even such public works. The government’s decisions are going to benefit everyone, then why the opposition? “

मैथिली पूर्वांचल समाज ने मुख्यमंत्री को किया सम्मानित
नयी दिल्ली : कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रजिस्ट्री खुलने का सबसे बड़ा फ़ायदा पूर्वांचल समाज लोगों को होगा . दिल्ली की कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रहनेवाले लोगों को उनके मकानों का पक्का मालिकाना हक़ देने जा रही है और इसके लिए जल्द ही रजिस्ट्री खोल दी जाएगी . चूंकि कच्ची कॉलोनियों में बहुत बड़ी तादात में पूर्वांचल से आए प्रवासी रहते है, इस फ़ैसले का सबसे बड़ा फ़ायदा पूर्वांचल के लोगों को ही होगा . यह बात मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने पूर्वांचल मैथिल समाज की ओर से आयोजित एक सम्मान समारोह में कही .
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि जब कोई व्यक्ति अपने भविष्य को तलाशने दिल्ली आता है तो उसके मन में एक सपना होता है कि उसका अपना मकान हो. मुझे लगातार ये चिंता थी कि इतनी बड़ी तादात में पूर्वांचल वासियों ने मुझपर विश्वास जताया था और आम आदमी पार्टी को इतनी बड़ी जीत दिलायी थी। क्या मैं उनके सपने को पूरा कर सकूंगा । मुझे बेहद ख़ुशी है कि अब दिल्ली की कच्ची कॉलोनियों में रहनेवाले १ करोड़ १० लाख लोग अपने मकानों का पक्का मालिकाना हक़ पा सकेंगे.
मैथिली और पूर्वांचल समाज के आयोजित एक कार्यक्रम में दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि पूर्वांचलदेश में दिल्ली सरकार ने सबसे पहले मैथली को वैकल्पिक भाषा के तौर मान्यता देने का कार्य किया है। साथ ही मैथली एकेडमी भी शुरू की जायेगी, जिसमें बच्चे आईएएस की तैयारी मैथिली भाषा में कर सकेंगे। इसके साथ ही कच्ची बस्तियों में मालिकाना हक़ दिए जाने का सबसे ज़्यादा फ़ायदा भी मैथिल और पूर्वांचल समाज को होने वाला है।
आज मैथिली और पूर्वांचल समाज के दोनों हाथों में लड्डू है एक तरफ़ तो मैथिली को वैकल्पिक भाषा के रूप में स्थान मिला है दूसरी तरफ़ कच्ची बस्तियों में भी मालिकाना हक़ का सबसे ज़्यादा फ़ायदा भी इसी समाज को होने वाला है।
इस मौके पर उपमुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि अफ़सोस तो इस बात का है कि अच्छे कामों का भी विपक्ष विरोध करता आ रहा है।जो काम सभी के हित के हैं आख़िरी उसमें किस बात का विरोध। हम तो केंद्र सरकार के सहयोग की बात स्वीकारते है। कल शाम ही केंद्र सरकार से कच्ची बस्तियों के मालिकान हक़ दिए जाने का रास्ता साफ़ हुआ और आज ही हमने घोषणा कर दी।
