*पोस्टरों पर CM की तस्वीरों को हटाने के संबंध में चुनाव आयोग के निर्देशों से AAP असहमत; AAP नेता राघव चड्ढा ने CEO को लिखा खत*
आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय प्रवक्ता और दक्षिणी दिल्ली से लोकसभा उम्मीदवार राघव चड्ढा ने दिल्ली के मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त को चुनाव आयोग के निर्देशों के जवाब में एक खत लिखा| खत में उन्होंने, विशेष रूप से दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री की तस्वीरों को हटाने/छिपाने और ‘आम आदमी’ शब्द को हटाने के आदेश पर आपत्ति और असहमति जताई|
चड्ढा का तर्क है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की तस्वीरें शहर भर में विभिन्न सरकारी / गैर-सरकारी सन्दर्भ में छपी हुयी है और उन्हें भी उसी मानकों और नियमों के अधीन होना चाहिए जैसे दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री पर लगाए जा रहा है। वह लिखते हैं, “यह आवश्यक है कि यदि एक समतल मैदान सुनिश्चित करना है, सभी पक्षों को समान निर्देश जारी करने चाहिए। स्वतंत्र और निष्पक्ष चुनाव ऐसे ही सुनिश्चित किए जा सकते हैं।”

Aam Aadmi Party National Spokesperson and Lok Sabha Candidate Raghav Chadha has written to Chief Electoral Officer, Delhi in response to Election Commissions directions ordering removal/ covering up of pictures of specifically Delhi’s Chief Minister and the words ‘aam aadmi’, citing deference to the Model Code of Conduct.
Chadha argues that Prime Minister Modi’s pictures are plastered all over the city under various governmental/ non governmental pretexts and must be subject to the same standards and regulations as are being imposed on Delhi Chief Minister. He writes, “It is essential that if a level playing field is ensured, the directions ought to be issued across the board, to all parties.It is pertinent to point out that directions ought to be issued only in such a manner, to ensure free and fair elections.”
