Senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh expressed his shock and displeasure over the Delhi court’s decision to deny bail to former Deputy CM Shri Manish Sisodia, on Friday. The MP called the decision “shocking” and stated that it would be appealed against before the Delhi High Court.

Shri Sanjay Singh also alleged that the reason behind the denial of bail to Shri Manish Sisodia was the opposition’s loud calls against the central government’s collusion with the Adani group. He accused Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of looting national resources and said that the person responsible for all the money being made by Adani and the scams being done by Adani was none other than the Prime Minister himself.

He said, “We respect the judiciary and the Courts, but the Constitution gives us the right to agree and disagree with the judgments of the judiciary, as well as the right to appeal against them. Anyone who sees this order will see the truth.”

He further stated that because of the way Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal had exposed the relationship between PM Modi and Adani in his speech in the Vidhan Sabha, there would be even more obstacles placed in the path of Shri Manish Sisodia and Shri Satyender Jain, and they would be kept in jail for longer.

In conclusion, the MP urged the judiciary to reconsider its decision and emphasised the importance of upholding the principles of justice and fairness.
