Aam Aadmi Party is fully geared up for the MCD elections that will be held on December 4. In this regard, a panel of lawyers has been working day and night to verify the forms of the candidates. AAP has got the candidates’ forms verified through this panel of lawyers. Symbols are being issued to the candidates only after the satisfaction of the panel of lawyers. The party office has been teeming with action as candidates gathered here throughout the day to get their nomination form verified as soon as possible and get the party symbol. Aam Aadmi Party’s National General Secretary Pankaj Gupta said that after the release of the list of candidates, there is only one day for nomination. In such a situation, all the nominations have to be completed on Monday.
The nomination forms of the candidates were checked at the Aam Aadmi Party office on Sunday and therefore there was a constant movement of people and the place was buzzing with intense fervour. Each step that will enable Aam Aadmi Party candidates to form the government in the MCD is being taken firmly, and therefore everyone’s nomination papers were keenly assessed by the panel of lawyers. There was a lot of commotion among the candidates to get the nomination forms verified at the earliest. Along with this, there was a gathering of candidates throughout the day to get the symbol of the party. Due to this the party office was extremely lively despite it being a Sunday.
A panel of lawyers had been formed by the Aam Aadmi Party to check the nomination forms of the candidates. With this, the nomination forms of all the candidates were thoroughly scrutinized throughout the day. The party does not want to take any risk regarding the nomination of any candidate and therefore those forms of candidates that had something lacking were immediately corrected. For this reason, a panel of lawyers had been prepared by the party to help the candidates and provide them round-the-clock legal assistance.
Aam Aadmi Party’s National General Secretary Shri Pankaj Gupta said that after the release of the list of candidates, there is only one day for nomination. The nomination of all the candidates for the MCD elections has to be done by Monday. It is a challenging situation for both the party and the candidate. Therefore, a panel of about 50 lawyers is helping the candidates with their nomination forms. The maximum focus of the Election Commission is on the candidate’s affidavit. If anyone raises questions on the candidate’s affidavit and the information in the affidavit is found to be incorrect, then the Election Commission can take cognizance. Therefore, the panel of lawyers is ensuring that the movable and immovable property of the candidates, cases registered against them, number of vehicles and other information are correct.
Shri Pankaj Gupta further said that the biggest challenge for the party is that on Monday the nomination papers for all the 250 candidates need to be filed correctly. For this purpose, the panel of lawyers has been working hard and scrutinizing the nomination forms continuously since Saturday morning. They have been working 24 hours a day. It is only after the lawyers are satisfied with the nomination form that the candidate is allotted a symbol. He also added that this time around, Delhi will witness ‘women empowerment’ at a large scale. Aam Aadmi Party has nominated women candidates for 138 seats, which is greater than what was mandated by the norms of Election Commission.

आम आदमी पार्टी एमसीडी चुनाव में जोरशोर से जुटी हुई है।प्रत्याशियों के फॉर्म वेरिफाई करने के लिए वकीलों का पैनल दिन-रात काम कर रहा है। आप ने वकीलों के पैनल के जरिए प्रत्याशियों के फॉर्म वेरिफाई करवाए हैं। वकीलों के पैनल की संतुष्टि के बाद ही प्रत्याशियों को सिंबल जारी हो रहा है। पार्टी कार्यालय में नामांकन फार्म जल्द से जल्द वेरीफाई करवाने और सिंबल प्राप्त करने के लिए दिनभर प्रत्याशियों का जमावड़ा रहा। आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव पंकज गुप्ता ने कहा कि प्रत्याशियों की सूची जारी होने के बाद नामांकन के लिए सिर्फ 1 दिन है। ऐसे में सभी का नामांकन सोमवार को ही होना है।
आम आदमी पार्टी जोर-शोर से एमसीडी चुनावों को लेकर जुट गई है। “आप” की तरफ से हर कदम मजबूती से रखा जा रहा है, ताकि मजबूती से एमसीडी में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार बनाई जा सके। आम आदमी पार्टी के कार्यालय में आज रविवार को प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन फॉर्म जांचे गए। उनकी कागजी कमियों को दूर कर, फॉर्म पूरा कराया गया। प्रत्याशियों में नामांकन फार्म जल्द से जल्द वेरीफाई करवाने को लेकर काफी गहमागहमी रही। इसके साथ ही पार्टी का सिंबल प्राप्त करने के लिए दिनभर प्रत्याशियों का जमावड़ा रहा। इसके चलते पूरे दिन पार्टी मुख्यालय में भीड़ जुटी रही
आम आदमी पार्टी की तरफ से प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन फार्म जांचने के लिए वकीलों का पैनल बनाया गया। इसके जरिए 24 घंटे सभी प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन फॉर्म गहनता के साथ जांचे गए। जिन प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन फार्म में कमी थी, उनको साथ के साथ दूर करवाया गया। प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन को लेकर पार्टी किसी भी तरह का जोखिम नहीं लेना चाहती है। इसी वजह से पार्टी की तरफ से वकीलों का पैनल प्रत्याशियों की मदद के लिए तैयार किया गया, जो कि चौबीसों घंटे उन्हें कानूनी सुविधा मुहैया करा रहा है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव पंकज गुप्ता ने कहा कि प्रत्याशियों की सूची जारी होने के बाद नामांकन के लिए सिर्फ 1 दिन है। एमसीडी चुनाव के सभी प्रत्याशियों का नामांकन सोमवार तक ही होना है। यह पार्टी और प्रत्याशी दोनों के लिए काफी मुश्किल भरा है। करीब 50 वकीलों का पैनल नामांकन फॉर्म में प्रत्याशियों की मुस्तैदी के साथ मदद कर रहा है। चुनाव आयोग का सबसे ज्यादा फोकस प्रत्याशी के एफिडेविट पर होता है। अगर कोई भी प्रत्याशी के एफिडेविट पर सवाल उठाता है और एफिडेविट में जानकारी गलत पाई जाती है तो चुनाव आयोग संज्ञान ले सकता है। ऐसे में वकीलों का पैनल प्रत्याशियों की चल-अचल संपत्ति, उनके ऊपर दर्ज मामले, गाड़ियों की संख्या सहित अन्य जानकारी सही हो, यह सुनिश्चित कर रहा है।
उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे लिए सबसे बड़ी चुनौती है कि कल सभी ढाई सौ सीटों पर सही नामांकन हो जाएं। वकीलों का पैनल शनिवार सुबह से 24 घंटे नामांकन फॉर्म जांच रहा है। वकीलों के नामांकन फॉर्म से संतुष्ट होने के बाद प्रत्याशी को सिंबल अलॉट किया जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली इस बार महिला सशक्तिकरण देखेगी आम आदमी पार्टी ने महिलाओं को आरक्षण से ज्यादा सीटों पर प्रत्याशी बनाया है। ढाई सौ में से 138 उम्मीदवार हमारी महिलाएं हैं।
