BJP’s witch hunt against Delhi’s Deputy Chief Minister Shri Manish Sisodia has stirred uproar all over the country. Senior AAP Leader and Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sanjay Singh accused the Modi government of defaming the Delhi education minister in their enmity against CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal.

Shri Sanjay Singh addressed the media on Thursday, stating that Education Minister Shri Manish Sisodia, who has been accused of corruption amounting to Rs 10,000 crore, is being defamed through false accusations. He further stated that Shri Sisodia has not indulged in corruption of even a penny in his life, and the CBI raids at his residence, village, and bank lockers yielded nothing.

The MP challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the name of Adani, who he alleged had committed a scam worth lakhs of crore. Shri Sanjay Singh said that the Modi government has sold the entire country to Adani, from coal to electricity, water, road, cement, steel, seaports, and airports. He further said that the Modi government gave Adani a loan of Rs 2.5 lakh crore and waived the loan of Rs 84 thousand crore. He accused the Modi government of being Adani’s servant and not taking any action against him.

“The entire Modi government has become Adani’s servant. PM Modi’s true boss is Adani, whom he does not take action against, though he is willing to take action against Shri Manish Sisodia,” said Shri Sanjay Singh.

He also criticised the Delhi police for remaining silent on the crimes happening in Delhi and accused them of house arresting Aam Aadmi Party workers. He concluded by stating that the people will respond to the BJP when the time comes.

The arrest of Shri Manish Sisodia has sparked protests from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), with many party leaders asserting that the arrest is a political vendetta by the BJP-led central government.
