In order to promote art and culture in the national capital, the Kejriwal government will build a state-of-the-art magnificent ‘Cultural Centre’ in Vikaspuri. The centre with many advanced facilities for artists from all over the country, will be spread over 1.09 acres of land. The Art, Culture and Languages Minister Ms. Atishi, along with officials from the Sahitya Kala Parishad, held a review meeting on Monday to discuss the plans for the upcoming Cultural Centre. The project is aimed at providing a platform for artists and promoting the rich cultural heritage of India.

While reviewing the project, ACL Minister Ms. Atishi said, “The new Cultural Centre in Vikaspuri will be a milestone in promoting art and culture in the national capital. Delhi government under the leadership of CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal is committed to providing a platform for artists to showcase their talents and connect with the wider community. This state-of-the-art Cultural Centre will be a landmark destination for art lovers and enthusiasts.”

Ms. Atishi added that the new Cultural Centre will be developed as a hub for various cultural activities such as music concerts, dance performances, theatre plays, art exhibitions and workshops. The facility will provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their talents and interact with established artists from across the country.

It is to be noted that the project for the new Cultural Centre is being handled by the Sahitya Kala Parishad (SKP), which is the cultural wing of the Government of the NCT of Delhi for the promotion and propagation of art and culture in Delhi. During the meeting, SKP officials told the Minister that the new Cultural Centre will have state-of-the-art facilities for music, dance, theatre, visual arts and various other art forms. It will bring together artists and art lovers from all over the country to share their ideas and experiences that will help them grow together.
