In a startling revelation, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has cast a spotlight on the absence of insulin for Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal during his custody. Senior AAP leader and MLA, Shri Dilip Pandey, has stated that the BJP is orchestrating a perilous scheme aimed at endangering Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s life by denying him insulin.
The AAP MLA stressed the grave implications, highlighting that without insulin, a diabetic patient’s health deteriorates gradually, affecting vital organs such as the eyes, kidneys, and liver, among others.Furthermore, Shri Dilip Pandey issued a stern warning, asserting that any harm inflicted on CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal by the BJP will be etched in the memory of the nation, with unforgiving repercussions.
During a press conference at the party headquarters on Saturday, senior AAP leader and MLA Shri Dilip Pandey said that the vile conspiracy being concocted by the BJP against the popular CM Shri Arvind Kejriwal marks a new low in Indian politics. This devious plot and the fallen political mindset do not bode well for the present or the future. Shri Arvind Kejriwal has become a victim of BJP’s conspiracy and is imprisoned in Tihar Jail. It reflects the degraded mentality of the BJP, denying Shri Arvind Kejriwal even the basic rights granted to an ordinary prisoner according to the jail manual.
The AAP MLA from Timarpur mentioned that the BJP is mistaken if it thinks its conspiracy is going unnoticed. The entire nation is witnessing and understanding what the BJP is attempting to do. The IT cell trolls of the BJP, who receive ₹2 per tweet, kickstart fabricated narratives under the guise of a conspiracy. It’s becoming evident to everyone what the BJP is up to. On one hand, the BJP is creating a narrative that Shri Arvind Kejriwal is consuming things he shouldn’t, and on the other hand, by withholding his insulin, they’re endangering his life. The BJP wants to create this narrative so that if something untoward happens tomorrow, they can say, “We told you so, Shri Arvind Kejriwal was consuming everything.” While engaging in such a conspiracy, the BJP seems to have no shame.
“The highest number of diabetes patients in the world are in India. Even my mother is a diabetic patient. We care for our elders, we look after them. We provide them with medicines on time, we pay attention to their diet and exercise. If they feel like having mangoes or guavas throughout the year, we don’t jeopardize their lives. We don’t say, ‘Now die, we don’t care,’ if they eat mangoes or guavas. If they don’t get insulin, if they don’t get medication, we don’t treat our elderly at home like this,” Shri Dilip Pandey added.
The AAP MLA shared, “The jail administration, acting on the signals from the BJP, is stubbornly withholding insulin, despite repeated appeals from the elected Chief Minister. Delhi and the nation want to know why Shri Arvind Kejriwal is being denied insulin. Your (BJP) stories, your troll-generated narratives, are on one side. Why is Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s insulin being withheld, who is preventing him from getting insulin? What conspiracy does the BJP want to execute by withholding Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s insulin? The BJP needs to explain why an elected Chief Minister has to go to court just to consult his doctor and get a prescription for insulin. Because the BJP is operating under a conspiracy. Everyone knows that diabetes isn’t just a disease; it opens the door to ten other ailments.”
Shri Dilip Pandey expressed that the entire nation understands that if someone develops diabetes, they can potentially suffer from ten different diseases at any given time. If a diabetic patient requires insulin and it’s withheld, their eyesight will deteriorate gradually, their kidneys and liver will suffer, and other parts of the body will be affected too. It’s common knowledge that if diabetes is left uncontrolled, it leads to a slow death. By withholding Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s insulin in jail, the BJP is plotting to subject him to a slow death. “I tell the BJP with full responsibility that no matter how powerful your machinery may be, your anxiety is revealing that the ground beneath your feet is slipping away. Delhi and the nation are witnessing the pettiness of your politics. If you stoop so low as to endanger Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s life, the people of Delhi and the nation will not forgive the BJP for the next 100-200 years,” he added.
The Timarpur MLA shared, “The BJP, its obedient officials, and the jail administration should understand that it is not too late yet. Stop fabricating stories and conspiring. Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s sugar levels are being regularly monitored. Since April 12, 2024, his sugar levels have consistently ranged from 250 to 300, which is dangerous for him. It is fatal for his other organs, life-threatening for him. He needs to consult a doctor and get insulin. Any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated. You have no right to withhold Shri Arvind Kejriwal’s insulin. You have no authority to endanger the life of a popular Chief Minister. You have no right to conspire against Shri Arvind Kejriwal under the guise of these officials.”
“Consider this a warning from the people of Delhi. You cannot withhold Arvind Kejriwal’s insulin. He is a diabetic patient and should immediately be provided with insulin by the jail administration. By imprisoning Arvind Kejriwal, you are not being courageous. You are not becoming brave,” Shri Dilip Pandey concluded.
