It is proposed in a meeting to form a monitoring committee to look after the quality of the education and student’s continuity in the respective coaching centres, stipend given to them is on time or other such modalities involved in the scheme to be closely monitored.

The duration of the coaching programme for the civil services examination should be extended up to 12 months so that sufficient time should be given for preparation of main exam, after the preliminary examination. Empanelment of the institutes for Civil Services Exams, should be done separately for optional subjects, as coaching institutes do not provide coaching for all optional subjects generally. Duration of other coaching programme for preparation of entrance exams should also to be extended. Quantum of fee for coaching programme to be extended upto 1.5 lakhs so that premier institutes can also rope in to give maximum benefit to the students.

Presently, maximum sealing of the coaching fees is upto Rs. 40,000/-. Apart from fee, stipend of Rs. 2500/- per student, per month through ECS is also been provided to the students.
