दिल्ली कैबिनेट मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने आम आदमी पार्टी दक्षिणी दिल्ली से लोक सभा प्रत्याशी राघव चड्ढा, संगम विहार के विधायक और दिल्ली जल बोर्ड उपाध्यक्ष दिनेश मोहनिया और तुग़लक़ाबाद विधायक सहीराम पहलवान की उपस्थिति में *संगम विहार में 68 करोड़ की लागत के विकास कार्यों और तुग़लक़ाबाद में 220 KV का GIS सब स्टेशन का उद्घाटन किया*। इन विकास कार्यों के तहत संगम विहार विधानसभा की 9 अनधिकृत कॉलोनियों में विभिन्न सुधार कार्य नियमित रूप से किए जाएंगे। GIS सबस्टेशन बाकी पावर स्टेशन मुकाबले कम जगह घेरता है और साथ ही अब इलाके में 24 घंटे बिजली प्रदान करेगा|
सभा को संबोधित करते हुए मंत्री सतेंद्र जैन ने दिल्ली सरकार की उपलब्धियां गिनाई और ये याद दिलाया कि 2013 में अरविंद केजरीवाल ने सस्ती बिजली मुफ़्त पानी के जो वादे किए थे, वो पूरे करके दिखाए।
अपने भाषण के बीच में राघव चड्ढा को आगे बुलाकर सतेंद्र जैन ने कहा कि जब वे चुनाव लड़ रहे थे पहली बार तब सब लोगों ने कहा था कि ‘गौ’ चुनाव लड़ रहा है।राघव की तुलना खुद से करते हुए उन्होंने कहा, “राघव की शकल देख के पता चलता है कि एक बहुत इमानदार लड़का है। इन्हें और अपने मौजूदा सांसद को साथ खड़ा कर कर देख लेना तो साफ़ फ़र्क पता चल जाएगा।”
उन्होंने कहा कि “ये सोच के देखें कि अगर आपको अपने बच्चे को किसी के साथ छोड़ना हो तो राघव चड्ढा के पास छोड़ेंगे या रमेश बिधूड़ी के पास?”
उन्होंने कहा कि “अगर दिल्ली को पूर्ण राज्य मिलेगा तो कम परसेंट वाले बच्चों को भी अच्छे कॉलेज में एडमिशन मिलेगा। “एक बार अगर सातों सांसद आम आदमी पार्टी की बन गए, तो दो साल के अंदर अंदर दिल्ली को पूर्ण राज्य बनाकर दिखाएंगे।”
उन्होंने कहा कि “पिछले कई दशकों से संगम विहार में कांग्रेस BJP के विधायक रहे हैं पर उन्होंने कुल मिलाकर भी इतनी गलियां नहीं बनायी होगी जितनी गलियों का उदघाटन आज हो रहा है।बाक़ी की सरकारें पहले नारियल फोड़ती थी और चुनावी वादे करती थी कि हमें वोट दे देना तो काम कर देंगे, लेकिन आम आदमी पार्टी पहले काम करके दिखाती है और फिर वोट माँगती है।”
इस मौके पे राघव चड्ढा ने कहा, “ आपने चार साल पहले अरविन्द केजरीवाल को प्यार दिया और सारे विधायक आम आदमी पार्टी के चुने लेकिन भाजपा के सातों सांसदों ने दिल्ली में पिछले 5 साल में कोई काम नहीं किया, बल्कि अरविन्द केरजीवाल जी के हर काम में परेशानी उत्पन की और चिट्ठियां लिख लिख कर उनके कामो को रोकने का काम किया| यदि आप अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी को इन सातों सांसदों से निजाद दिलाना चाहते है और चाहते है की दिल्ली में अरविन्द केजरीवाल का विकास का घोड़ा चार गुना स्पीड पे दौड़े, तो आज से दो महीने बाद जो चुनाव है उसमे झाड़ू का बटन दबाएं और दिल्ली की सातों सीटों पर अरविन्द केजरीवाल के सिपाहीयो को जिताएं”
“हमारे देश में 29 राज्य है और अगर बाक़ी अट्ठाईस राज्यों में हर व्यक्ति के वोट की क़ीमत एक रुपये हैं तो वहीं दिल्ली वालों के वोट की क़ीमत चवन्नी भर भी नहीं है,क्योंकि दिल्ली पूर्ण राज्य नहीं है और दिल्ली की सरकार के पास शक्तियाँ नहीं है जो और राज्य सरकारों के पास होती है। जैसे कि, दिल्ली पुलिस क़ानून व्यवस्था ज़मीन से संबंधित मसले दिल्ली की सरकार के अधीन नहीं आते।”
“हम चाहते हैं कि दिल्ली में जितने भी एजुकेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट्स है उसमें दिल्ली के बच्चों को प्राथमिकता मिले, दिल्ली वालों को नौकरी मिलनी चाहिए लेकिन दिल्ली सरकारी नहीं कर पाती है क्योंकि दिल्ली एक पूर्ण राज्य नहीं है। यदि आप लोग दिल्ली को पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा देना चाहते हैं तो ये अनिवार्य है की आप सब आने वाले चुनाव में आम आदमी पार्टी को वोट दें, सातों में 7 सांसद आम आदमी पार्टी से जताए और अरविन्द केजरीवाल जी 2 साल के भीतर पूर्ण राज्य का दर्जा दिलाएंगे|”
उन्होंने कहा, “चाहे हमारे राजनैतिक विरोधी हम पे कितना ही दबाव डाले, मुक़द्दमे करें और परेशान करे जब तक दिल्ली में अरविंद केजरीवाल है, हम सारी कच्ची कॉलोनियों को पक्का करके रहेंगे।”

Delhi Cabinet Minister Satyendra Jain, in presence of AAP South Delhi Lok Sabha candidate Raghav Chadha, Sangam Vihar MLA and Delhi Jal Board Vice Chairman Dinesh Mohaniya and Tughlakabad MLA Sahiram Pehalwan, inaugurated various development projects worth RS. 68 crores in Sangam Vihar and a 220 KV Substation in Tughlakabad. The projects are set to benefit residents of 9 unauthorised colonies in Sangam Vihar Vidhan Sabha of South Delhi Parliamentary Constituency. The Substation is a new and improved compact model and is set to ensure 24 hour electricity supply to the people of Tughlakabad. The event was well attended by local residents.
Addressing the crowd Minister Satyender Jain recounted the achievements of the Delhi government and reminded the people how Arvind Kejriwal fulfilled all the pre poll promises such as reducing electricity tariff and making water free.
During his speech, he brought Raghav Chadha to the fore and remarked that when he himself had been selected to contest the elections, people had said, a ‘Gau’ is fighting the elections. Comparing Raghav to himself he said, “One can tell just by looking at him that he is a very honest person. If you compared him to the incumbent MP, you’ll be able to tell the difference.”
He also quipped, “Think for a moment, if you had to leave your children in the custody of either Raghav Chadha or Ramesh Bhiduri, who would you be more comfortable with?”
He said that if Delhi becomes a full state, then even students with average percentage will be able to get admission in good colleges. “If all the seven MPs are voted from Aam Aadmi Party, then we will make sure Delhi attains full statehood within two years.”
“For decades, Sangam Vihar has had an MLA from either BJP or Congress and I can say that they must not have constructed as many colonies in all their tenures combined in this area as we are inaugurating today.”
“Other parties often make tall promises and ask for votes saying if we are voted to power, we will complete so and so work. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party first delivers results and then seeks vote on the basis of work done.”
Addressing the crowd, Raghav Chadha said, “The Seven MPs from BJP have not done any work for the people of Delhi in the past 5 years. Rather, they have only created roadblocks in development works of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal. If you want to get rid of all the current BJP MPs, and want developmental activities by Arvind Kejriwal to gain pace; then vote for AAP in the upcoming elections and ensure all the seven MPs elected are from AAP”
“There are 29 states in our country. If the value of one vote in 28 states is a rupee, Delhi’s vote is not worth even a penny because Delhi is not a full state. The government of Delhi doesn’t have complete powers like other state governments do. Delhi police, law and order and problems related to ground issues are not under the ambit of the government of Delhi.”
“We want students of Delhi to get preference in the universities and educational institutes of Delhi. People of Delhi should get jobs, but Delhi’s government cannot help in the matter as Delhi is not a full state. If you all want Delhi to become a full state, then it is important to ensure that that all the seven MP’s are chosen from Aam Aadmi Party. If we win, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal will ensure that Delhi becomes a full state within two years.”
