The Indian Constitution is the bedrock of our country’s greatness. It is because of the foresight of leaders like Babasaheb Ambedkar that we have safeguards for inclusivity and representation. However, divisive and caste-ist forces like the RSS, which is the ideological master of the Bhartiya Janata Party, are determined to destroy the cultural fabric of India.
Aam Aadmi Party, under the leadership of AAP South Delhi Lok Sabha Incharge Raghav Chadha and Tughlakabad MLA Sahiram Pehelwan today hosted a mega ‘Samvidhan Samman Sabha’ at Harkesh Nagar, Near Sabji Mandi in Tughlakabad Vidhansabha to expose BJP’s ploy. The sabha was attended by thousands of residents from the area.
Yet another matter of concern that was discussed was BJP’s tactic to divide people on the basis of regions by spewing venom and targeting people of Purvanchal across India. The recent and shameful spate of instances of violence, harassment and even exodus of Purvanchalis from BJP ruled states and sometimes by BJP leaders themselves clearly expose BJP’s hatred for Purvanchalis.
Seeing as how both these worrisome developments are in violation of our constitutional ethics, a massive ‘Samvidhan Samman Sabha’ was organized today against BJP’s scheme to change the constitution and in solidarity with the people of Purvanchal. The crowd agreed and chanted unison, ‘Bhajpa Bhagao, Samvidhan Bachao’
Addressing the crowd, Raghav Chadha said, “ The BJP is violating and snatching three important constitutional rights of people. The are:
1. The right to vote. By deleting 30,00,000 names from Delhi’s voter lists, BJP is trying to snatch people’s right to vote. Mass voter deletion is a gross violation of the constitutional rights of the people.
2. Only a few months ago, BJP leaders had beaten up Purvanchalis on the streets of South Delhi and they continue to harass them. BJP leaders have created an environment of fear for Purvanchalis with violence and intimidation. Exodus of Purvanchalis from multiple BJP ruled states also exposes their anti Purvanchali mentality and snatches Purvanchalis constitutional rights of citizenship.
3. The BJP is again giving more power to the rich people of this country and sheds crocodile tears to the plight of the poor. The 10% reservation bill is another ploy of appeasement before the Elections. The bill is designed as such that it gives the 5% rich the benefit of reservation while 95% upper castes will compete for 10% quota.
In 2015, Mohan Bhagwat, who is the RSS chief, had said that he wants to end the reservation for Dalits and OBCs. Now the BJP wants to snatch the constitutional right of reservation of people of the exploited and disadvantaged sections.
I have come to warn you that, the BJP wants to change the constitution of Baba Saheb Ambedkar and wants to strip SC / ST / OBC and Dalits from their constitutional rights.
This is why we say, “BJP bhagao, Samvidhan Bachao”

आप नेता राघव चड्ढा ने भाजपा पर संविधान विरोधी प्रयासों का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा देश में जातीय आरक्षण ख़त्म करके बाबा साहेब आम्बेडकर के मूल सिद्धान्त को बदलने की साजिश कर रही है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के दक्षिण दिल्ली लोकसभा प्रभारी राघव चड्ढा ने आज ‘संविधान सम्मान सभा’ को संबोधित करते हुए यह बात कही। तुगलकाबाद विधानसभा क्षेत्र के हरकेश नगर में आयोजित सभा को आप के स्थानीय विधायक साहिरम पहलवान ने भी संबोधित किया। संविधान और आरक्षण के खिलाफ बीजेपी की चाल का पर्दाफाश करने के लिए आयोजित इस सभा में क्षेत्र के हजारों निवासियों ने भाग लिया।
भारतीय संविधान हमारे देश की महानता का आधार है। बाबासाहेब अम्बेडकर जैसे महान विचारकों की दूरदर्शिता के तहत हमारे संविधान में समावेशिता और प्रतिनिधित्व को महत्व दिया गया है। लेकिन भाजपा को वैचारिक मार्गदर्शन देने वाला विभाजनकारी आरएसएस भारत के सांस्कृतिक ताने-बाने को नष्ट करने के लिए दृढ़ संकल्पित हैं।
भाजपा और संघ की इन्हीं विभाजनकारी नीतियों का दुष्परिणाम है कि पूरे भारत में पूर्वांचलियों के खिलाफ जहर उगला गया। प्रान्त के आधार पर लोगों को विभाजित करने के लिए भाजपा की रणनीति भी स्पष्ट है। पूर्वांचलियों के खिलाफ हिंसा, उत्पीड़न और यहां तक कि पूर्वांचलियों के भाजपा शासित राज्यों से निकाला जाना और खुद भाजपा नेताओं द्वारा की गई हिंसा पूर्वांचलियों के लिए भाजपा की नफरत का सबूत है।
हमारी संवैधानिक अधिकारों के उल्लंघन के रूप में इन दोनों चिंताजनक घटनाक्रमों को देखते हुए, पूर्वांचल के लोगों के साथ एकजुटता और संविधान विरोधी भाजपाई साजिश के खिलाफ आज एक विशाल ‘संविधान सम्मान सभा’ का आयोजन किया गया। लोगों ने सहमति व्यक्त की और, *’भाजपा भगाओ, संविधान बचाओ’* का नारा लगाया।
राघव चड्ढा ने सभा को संबोधित करते हुए कहा, “भाजपा जनता से उनके संवैधानिक अधिकार छीनने वाली पार्टी है जो इन बातों से स्पष्ट है, तीन संवैधानिक अधिकार भाजपा ने छीने:
1. बीजेपी ने एक बड़ी खतरनाक साजिश और एक गैरकानूनी काम दिल्ली में किया है।उस गैर कानूनी काम के तहत दिल्ली में 3000000 लोगों से अधिक के नाम वोटर लिस्ट से कटवा दिए और लोगों से वोट देने का संवैधानिक अधिकार छीना।
2.कुछ महीनों पहले दक्षिणी दिल्ली की सड़कों पर दौड़ा दौड़ाकर भाजपा नेताओं ने पूर्वांचलियों को पीटा था और अभी भी उन पर अत्याचार कर रही है भाजपा।भाजपा के नेताओं ने गुंडागर्दी और मारपीट से पूर्वांचलियों के लिए भय का माहौल खड़ा कर दिया। भाजपा शासित राज्यों में पूर्वांचलियो का पलायन हो रहा है उनसे उनकी नागरिकता का संवैधानिक अधिकार छीना जा रहा है।
3.१०% सवर्ण के आरक्षण से यह फिर अमीरों के लिए काम कर रहे है क्योंकि 95% सवर्ण 10% के लिए प्रतिस्पर्धा करेंगे और 5%अमीर सवर्ण को 40 प्रतिशत कोटे का फ़ायदा देना चाहती है भाजपा।
२०१५ में मोहन भागवत जी जो RSS के सर्वसंचालक हैं उन्होंने कहा था न कि वे दलित और OBC के लिए आरक्षण ख़त्म करना चाहते हैं। अब भाजपा शोषित और वंचित वर्ग के लोगों का आरक्षण का संवैधानिक अधिकार छीनना चाहती है। मैं उसके लिए आपको आगाह करने आया हूं, के भाजपा को बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर का संविधान बदलना चाहती है और SC/St/OBC और दलितों से उनका संविधानिक अधिकार छीनना चाहती है।
इसी कारण हमारा ये कहना है कि *भाजपा भगाओ, संविधान बचाओ*”
