आम आदमी पार्टी के माननीय राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह ने दक्षिणी दिल्ली से लोकसभा प्रत्याशी राघव चड्ढा और पालम विधायिका भावना गौड़ की उपस्थिति में पालम विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 21 कच्ची कॉलोनियों में सड़कों और नालियों के विकास कार्यों का शुभारंभ किया। क्षेत्र की हर गली में पक्की सड़क एवं नाली बनाने के विकास कार्यों के लिए 70 करोड़ की लागत की मंज़ूरी की गई है। इस विशाल अवसर पर पालम की स्थानीय जनता वरिष्ठ वक्ता संजय सिंह और अपने दक्षिणी दिल्ली से आम आदमी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार को देखने बड़ी संख्या में एकजुट हुईं।
इसी के साथ दक्षिणी दिल्ली लोकसभा क्षेत्र के छत्तरपुर, संगम विहार और देवली में विकास कार्यों के शुभारंभ महोत्सव आयोजित किये गए| छत्तरपुर में नालों का काम जोर शोर से शुरू है, वहीँ संगम विहार विधानसभा में 17 कॉलोनियों को लाभ देने के लिए 7 विशाल विकास परियोजनाओं का शुभारंभ हुआ| देवली की 8 अनधिकृत कॉलोनियों में 155 सड़कों का और 310 नालियों का विकास कार्य का भी शुभारंभ हुआ।
सभा को सम्भोदित करते हुए , संजय सिंह ने कहा, “जब चुनाव में वोट देने जाना तो प्रधान मंत्री ने 2014 में क्या क्या वादे किये थे याद रखना और अरविन्द केजरीवाल के काम याद रखना| आदरणीय प्रधान मंत्री ने बोला था की इतना काला धन वापिस लाएंगे की हर आदमी के खाते में 15 लाख आजायेगा| किसीका पैसा नहीं आया|”
उन्होंने कहा, “भाजपा शासित उत्तर प्रदेश में एंटी-रोमियो के नाम पर भाई बेहेन जा रहे हो तो भजपाइये पकड़ के पीट देते है, बाप बेटी जा रहे हो, उन्हें पकड़ के पीट देते, ऐसी इन्होने गुंडों की फौज बना राखी है कि किसी भी आम आदमी को पकड़ के पीट देंगे| अबकी चुनाव आया है, हम अपने वोट की ताकत से आपको पीट के दिखाएँगे”
आने वाले चुनावों के विषय पर राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह ने कहा, “आने वाले चुनावों में जाति के नाम नहीं, धर्म के नाम नहीं, बल्कि बच्चों के भविष्य और दिल्ली की तक़दीर और तब्दील बदलने के लिए वोट करें।”
भाजपा की नारी विरोधी विचारधारा पर तीर साधते हुए उन्होंने कहा, कठुआ में आठ साल की बच्ची के बलात्कारी के समर्थन की रैली में भाजपा के तीन मंत्री गए थे, इसके लिए जनता भाजपा को ,”जवाब दें वोट की ताक़त से, और एक एक चीज़ का हिसाब लें”
सेना के राजनीतिकरण की कड़ी निंदा करते हुए संजय सिंह ने कहा कि भाजपा सेना के नाम पे राजनीति कर रही है और अभिनंदन की फ़ोटो अपने पोस्टर पे लगाके वोट माँगने की गिरी हुई हरकत कर रही है।
पूर्ण राज्य के मुद्दे पर उन्होंने कहा,”केजरीवाल जी जिस दिन पूर्ण राज्य बन जाएगा, उस दिन दिल्ली के नौजवानों को दो लाख नौकरियां देने का काम शुरू करेंगे, अस्पताल बनाएंगे, स्कूल बनाएंगे और महिलाओं को सुरक्षा देंगे।”
राघव चड्ढा के लिए वोट की अपील करते हुए उन्होंने कहा,“एक ऐसा प्रत्याशी हमने आपके बीच दिया है जिसने लंदन से पढाई की, चाहता तो करोड़ो की नौकरी कर सकता था, दुनिया के किसी भी कोने में रह सकता था, परिवार का पालन पोषण कर सकता था, अपनी उस बड़ी नौकरी को लात मारके पिछले कई सालों से अरविन्द केजरीवाल और आम आदमी पार्टी के साथ समर्पित होके काम कर रहा है| इसे अपने वोट की ताकत से लोक सभा में पहुंचा देना| दो महीने बाद जब राघव चड्ढा लोक सभा में बोलेगा और मैं राज्य सभा में बोलूंगा, तो दोनों सदन में आम आदमी की आवाज़ गूंजेगी|”

“चुनाव नज़दीक आने से विभाजनकारी पार्टियां हमें धर्म, जाती और अब प्रान्त के नाम पर भी बाँट रही है- अभी कुछ समय पहले भाजपा के नेताओं ने दक्षिणी दिल्ली में पूर्वांचल के लोगों के दौड़ा दौड़ा कर पीटा और प्रान्त के नाम पर उनपे अत्याचार किये| गुजरात में , महाराष्ट्र में, जहाँ भाजपा की सरकार है, वहां पूर्वांचलियों पे अत्याचार और उनका पलायन हो रहा है| उसी प्रकार दक्षिणी दिल्ली में भाजपा के नेता पूर्वांचल से आये भाई बहनो पे अत्याचार कर रहे है|मुझे विश्वास है की इस बार दक्षिणी दिल्ली के लोग समाज को तोड़ने वाली शक्तियों को हराएंगे और समाज को जोड़ने वाली शक्तियों को जिताएंगे|”

Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, in presence of AAP’s Lok Sabha Candidate from South Delhi Raghav Chadha and Palam MLA Bhavna Gaur, inaugurated major development work of construction of roads and sewers worth Rs. 70 crores, set to benefit citizens of 21 unauthorised colonies in the area. The grand inauguration ceremony was attended in large numbers by local residents who poured in to see their MP candidate from Aam Aadmi Party.
Foundation stone was also laid in Chhattarpur where multiple projects for construction of drains are underway. Sanjay Singh also laid the foundation stone for seven new developmental projects that will benefit 17 colonies in Sangam Vihar constituency of South Delhi. Another foundation stone was laid for construction of 155 new roads and 310 drainage systems in unauthorised colonies of Deoli.
Addressing the large crowd, Sanjay Singh said, “Do remember PM Modi’s empty promises and Arvind Kejriwal’s work when you go to cast your vote. PM Modi promised to bring back so much ‘black money’ that we would all get 15 lakhs in our bank accounts. Did anyone receive a single penny?”
He said, “In BJP ruled UP, they created Anti Romeo squads who beat up any brothers and sisters or fathers and daughters that they could find. They have created these mobs to terrorise and attack common man. In the upcoming election, we must attack them with the power of our vote and throw them out.”
Speaking about the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh said, “Do not vote for religion or caste in the Lok Sabha elections. Vote for a bright future for the children, and for the upliftment and development of Delhi.”
He also spoke about the anti-women ideology of BJP and reminded people that three BJP lawmakers attended the rally carried out in support of the accused in the Kathua rape case of an 8-year-old. Singh said, “Give BJP a fitting reply with your votes and hold them accountable for every single thing.”
Singh also attacked BJP for politicising the Indian Army. He said that BJP is asking for votes in the name of the Indian Army and is using photographs of Wing Commander Abhinandan to solicit votes from the public. Singh called this move by the BJP a “despicable act”.
On the issue of full statehood for Delhi, Singh said, “The day Delhi becomes a full state, CM Kejriwal will be able to create 2 lakh jobs for the youth of Delhi. Kejriwal will build schools and hospitals, and will give security to the women of Delhi.”
Singh appealed people to vote for Raghav Chadha, and said, “After studying from London, if Raghav wanted he could be in a cushy job anywhere in the world making crores, but he sacrificed his fancy job and has been dedicatedly working with Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party for years. Use the power of your vote to send him to Parliament. Two months from now, when Raghav will speak in Lok Sabha and I will speak in Rajya Sabha, the voice of the common man will rule both houses.”
“If youngsters like Raghav Chadha make it to the Parliament, they will speak for the people and make their voices stronger. It’s up to you to decide if people like Raghav Chadha go to Parliament or goons, thugs and hate-mongers continue becoming MPs.”
Addressing the crowd Raghav Chadha said, “Four years ago you showered your love on Arvind Kejriwal and gave almost all legislative assembly seats to Aam Aadmi Party. The seven BJP MLAs have done no work in the last 5 years. In fact, the BJP MLAs have obstructed every work CM Kejriwal has attempted to do, and have written letters to stall works of development in Delhi. If you want to rid Kejriwal of these seven BJP MLAs so he can work for Delhi uninhibitedly, make sure you vote for Aam Aadmi Party from all seven seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.”
Chadha further said, “Because the BJP has realised that their defeat in the upcoming elections is a certainty, they have illegally removed names of 30 lakh residents of Delhi from the voters’ list. CM Kejriwal has been fighting and struggling against the Election Commission ever since he found out about this three months ago. Every name that the BJP has scrapped off illegally from the voters’ list will be restored within two weeks.”
“As elections get closer, political parties are attempting to divide people along lines of religion and caste, and now states. Recently in South Delhi, BJP netas harassed and behaved violently with people from the North East in the name of regionalism. Everywhere there is a BJP government, be it Maharashtra or Gujarat, Purvanchalis are being discriminated against. The same is true in South Delhi. I am sure that this time the people of South Delhi will defeat the forces of division and hate, and peace and brotherhood will emerge victorious.”
