Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Senior AAP leader and MCD in-charge Shri Durgesh Pathak said that the Aam Aadmi Party has completed all 2500 Mohalla Sabhas under its campaign to expose the corrupt practices of the BJP in the MCD, with the Mohalla Sabhas witnessing a participation of 2.5 lakh people. He said that there was a great enthusiasm among the people for AAP, and around 90% of the people agree that the BJP has failed in running the MCD. After an analysis of the discussions held, 99% people agreed that BJP has failed in ensuring cleanliness and 100% agreed that BJP does corruption, he added. He said that people are perturbed by the BJP in the MCD and have agreed that the BJP has failed to run the MCD and they have decided that they will vote for the Kejriwal government in the MCD.

Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “We had launched a campaign across Delhi 15 days back, under which our aim was to organise 2500 Mohalla Sabhas across Delhi. Yesterday we completed 2500 Mohalla Sabhas under our campaign. We noticed a great enthusiasm among the people for the Aam Aadmi Party. Around 90% of the people agree that the BJP has failed in running the MCD. Around 2.5 lakh people participated in these 2500 Mohalla Sabhas. Our volunteers and the people of Delhi conducted a door to door campaign, we distributed pamphlets and held discussions. After an analysis of these discussions, we have found out that 90-95% of the people who participated are perturbed by the BJP and they want the Kejriwal govt to be formed in the MCD.”

“Around 99% of the people have accepted that the BJP has failed in cleaning the roads of Delhi, 100% of the people accepted that BJP does corruption during the construction of buildings in Delhi. Many people went in front of the media and narrated their stories of how BJP councillors took bribes from them. After detailed discussions on various issues, people agreed that the BJP has failed to effectively run the MCD. They said they will vote for the Kejriwal government in the MCD,” he added.
