In one stroke, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi made the largest ever capacity expansion to government schools. Across the city, Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia and AAP MLAs inaugurated a total of 5,695 classrooms in hundreds of existing schools today.

Delhi government has allocated a whopping quarter of its entire Budget for education and the rapid expansion in capacity and upgrade of infrastructure is a result of this huge investment. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia inaugurated classrooms at the Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya, No 2, Mandawali in his constituency of Patparganj in East Delhi.

The AAP government has transformed public education in Delhi and has demonstrated that if there is political will, it is possible to make government schools world class!
