AAP MCD In-charge and MLA Shri Durgesh Pathak reacted to the MCD’s agenda-list issued ahead of the house session to be held tomorrow. He said, “AAP completely agrees with MCD’s agenda list, but we request BJP to abide by it too. Tomorrow, on January 24, all our councillors will participate in the House in line with the agenda list. According to the agenda list, first the councillors will be sworn in, then the aldermen, after that the mayor, the deputy mayor and finally the 6 members of the standing committee will be elected. Today MCD has also accepted that the Aam Aadmi Party was absolutely right, it has finally issued the agenda list by accepting our demands. MLA Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “The Municipal Corporation of Delhi will again convene its house tomorrow, the 24th of January, to elect its Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the Standing Committee. The 250 elected municipal councillors will also take oath tomorrow. In this matter, the MCD has issued an agenda list today. It has been issued by the senior officials of MCD including the Secretary and Commissioner who are well aware of the Constitution of India and have read all relevant Acts therein.”
Responding to the agenda, he said, “Firstly, the Aam Aadmi Party completely agrees with this agenda list. Since day one, we have been saying that we have no objection to the conduction of elections and convening of the MCD house based on what the Indian Constitution and the DMC Act lays out. Today the MCD has also agreed that the Aam Aadmi Party was right in their demands and the agenda reflects the same and we are in agreement with this agenda. All our elected councillors will attend and participate in MCD’s session tomorrow accordingly and we will together get to the work of realising the collective dream of the people for a world-class, clean Delhi.”
He continued, “The Agenda List states that according to the DMC Act, first the Councillors and then the nominated Councillors will be sworn in. After that, the Mayor will be elected. Then, the election of the Deputy Mayor. Following that, the six members of MCD’s Standing Committees will be elected. We totally agree with the Agenda List. We assure the people of Delhi that tomorrow the Aam Aadmi Party will completely follow this Agenda List and every word therein.”
Addressing the BJP, he said, “We humbly request the BJP to also accept, respect and fully cooperate with this Agenda List, and to follow the Constitution of India completely. The people of Delhi who went to the polling booths to cast their votes have given a huge mandate to the Aam Aadmi Party and it must be respected. We appeal to the BJP to cooperate in convening the house and the elections tomorrow on the basis of this Agenda List.“

कार्यसूची के अनुसार पहले पार्षदों फिर मनोनीत पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण होगा, इसके बाद मेयर, डिप्टी मेयर और अंत में स्थायी समिति के 6 सदस्यों का चुनाव होगा- दुर्गेश पाठक

‘आप’ विधायक एवं एमसीडी प्रभारी दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी एमसीडी की कार्यसूचि से पूरी तरह सहमत है। कल, 24 जनवरी को होने वाली सदन में हमारे सभी पार्षद कार्यसूचि का पालन करते हुए भाग लेंगे। सदन में पहले पार्षदों फिर मनोनीत पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण होगा। इसके बाद मेयर, डिप्टी मेयर और अंत में स्थायी समिति के 6 सदस्यों का चुनाव होगा। भाजपा से विनती है कि वह भी इस कार्यसूचि का पालन करते हुए चुनाव की प्रक्रिया मंस पूरी तरह सहयोग करे। आज एमसीडी ने भी माना कि आम आदमी पार्टी बिल्कुल सही थी। उन सभी चीजों के आधार पर कार्यसूचि जारी की है। हम पहले दिन से कह रहे हैं कि संविधान और डीएमसी एक्ट के आधार पर चुनाव कराइए तो हमें कोई आपत्ति नहीं है।
आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता, विधायक एवं एमसीडी प्रभारी दुर्गेश पाठक ने सोमवार को पार्टी मुख्यालय में एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रेसवार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि 24 जनवरी को एमसीडी का सदन बुलाया गया है जिसमें मेयर, डिप्टी मेयर और स्टैंडिंग चेयरमैन का चुनाव होगा। इसी के साथ, जो पार्षद चुने गए हैं, उनका सपथ ग्रहण भी होगा। इसको लेकर एमसीडी के अधिकारियों ने एक कार्यसूचि जारी की है। जो वहां के सचिव और कमिश्नर हैं, जिनको वहां का बहुत अच्छे से ज्ञान है, जिन्होंने बहुत सारे एक्ट पढ़े हैं, जो भारत और एमसीडी के संविधान को जानते हैं, उन्होंने आज यह कार्यसूची जारी की है। आम आदमी पार्टी इस कार्यसूचि से सहमत है।
उन्होंने कहा कि हम पहले दिन से कह रहे हैं कि जो संविधान कह रहा है, जो डीएमसी एक्ट कह रहा है, उसके आधार पर चुनाव कराइए तो हमें कोई आपत्ति नहीं है। उसके आधार पर आप सदन कराएं, हमें कोई आपत्ति नहीं है। आज एमसीडी ने भी माना है कि जो आम आदमी पार्टी कह रही थी, वह बिल्कुल सही है। उन सभी चीजों को आज कार्यसूचि के आधार पर जारी किया है। हम इससे पूरी तरह से सहमत हैं। कल, हमारे सभी पार्षद होने वाली सदन में जाएंगे और इस कार्यसूचि के आधार पर भाग लेंगे।
दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि दिल्ली के लोगों ने जो एक सपना देखा है कि दिल्ली एक साफ और अत्याधुनिक राज्य बने, हम सभी लोग मिलकर उस सपने को पूरा करने में लगेंगे। भाजपा से भी हमारी यही विनती है कि वह भी इस कार्यसूचि का सम्मान करते हुए सदन को उसी आधार पर चलने दे। भारत का जो संविधान है, उसका पूरी तरह से पालन करें और उसमें पूरी तरह से सहयोग करें। हम दिल्ली की जनता को भरोसा दिलाते हैं कि आम आदमी पार्टी इस कार्यसूचि में लिखे एक-एक शब्द का पालन करेगी। उसमें लिखा हुआ है कि पहले पार्षद और फिर मनोनीत पार्षदों का शपथ ग्रहण होगा। उसके बाद मेयर का निर्वाचन होगा और फिर डिप्टी मेयर का निर्वाचन होगा। उससे भी हम सहमत हैं। उसके बाद स्थायी समिति के जो 6 सदस्य हैं, उनका चुनाव होगा। हम इससे पूरी तरह से सहमत हैं।
