      Chief Minister inspects the site of Seelampur building collapse   
·         Mr Arvind Kejriwal announces a compensation of Rs five lakh for the families of the deceased  
·         The injured will get a compensation of Rs 50,000 each
·         CM orders inquiry to ascertain the causes behind the collapse incident

Chief Minister Mr Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday inspected the spot of building collapse at Seelampur in North East Delhi, in which two persons were killed and two others were injured.
After the inspection, the Chief Minister announced a compensation of Rs five lakh for the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 each to the two injured persons.
Mr Kejriwal ordered an immediate inquiry to ascertain the exact causes behind the building collapse and fix responsibility for those whose inaction or complicity could be the reason behind the fatal incident.
The Chief Minister also said that the government will take care of the education of the children of the deceased, since they have lost the earning members of their families in this unfortunate incident.  
After the inspection, the Chief Minister said :“ I have inspected the site of the building collapse in Seelampur.  I have ordered an immediate inquiry into the matter. A life lost can never be replaced, but Delhi government will provide ₹5 lakh each as support to the family of those who lost their lives, and ₹50,000 to the injured.”
Mr Kejriwal heard the complaints of the local people, who narrated their version of what led to the building collapse.
Local MLA Mr Mohammad Ishraque also accompanied the Chief Minister during the inspection.
