– मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री श्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने मोती नगर में आचार्य भिक्षु हॉस्पिटल में नये हॉस्पिटल ब्लॉक की आधारशिला रखी
– 270 बेड्स वाला नया ब्लॉक यहां तैयार किया जाएगा जिससे इस अस्पताल में बेड्स की संख्या 150 से 420 हो जाएगी
मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल और स्वास्थ्य मंत्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने मोती नगर में सोमवार को आचार्य भिक्षु हॉस्पिटल में नये हॉस्पिटल ब्लॉक की आधारशिला रखी। इस मौके पर मोती नगर के विधायक श्री शिव चरण गोयल और राजेंदर नगर के विधायक श्री विजेंदर गर्ग भी मौजूद रहे।
इस मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा, आज यहां मौजूद सभी लोगों के लिए यह बेहद ही खुशी की बात है कि इस अस्पताल का विस्तार होने जा रहा है। 270 बेड्स वाला नया ब्लॉक यहां तैयार किया जाएगा जिससे इस अस्पताल में बेड्स की संख्या 150 से 420 हो जाएगी।
पीडब्ल्यूडी और हॉस्पिटल स्टॉफ को बधाई देते हए मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पीडब्ल्यूडी अगले 15 महीने में इस ब्लॉक का निर्माण कार्य पूरा कर लेगा। जो नया ब्लॉक बनाया जा रहा है, उस ब्लॉक में वह सारी सुविधाएं उपलब्ध होंगी जो बड़े-बड़े प्राइवेट अस्पतालों के अंदर मिलती हैं। हमारा मकसद है कि दिल्ली के हर व्यक्ति को समान शिक्षा एवं चिकित्सा मिले चाहे वह अमीर हो या गरीब हो। इसके लिए दिल्ली सरकार लगातार काम कर रही है। हम लोग जो स्कूल और अस्पताल बना रहे हैं वह उच्चतम दर्जे के हैं। पहले स्कूलों और अस्पतालों की हालत यह थी कि कोई भी व्यक्ति सरकारी स्कूल में अपने बच्चों को नहीं पढ़ाना चाहता था और सरकारी अस्पताल में इलाज के लिए जाने में लोग घबराते थे। इसी इलाके के कई लोगों ने मुझे बताया कि 5 साल पहले इस आचार्य भिक्षु अस्पताल की स्थिति भी बेहद खराब थी। जब से हमारी सरकार दिल्ली में आई और चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाए, तो इसी अस्पताल के डॉक्टरों, नर्सों एवं अन्य स्टाफ ने सरकार के सहयोग से इस अस्पताल की कायापलट कर दी।
वही लोग हैं, वही डॉक्टर हैं, नर्सें हैं, वही अध्यापक हैं, वही प्रधानाचार्य हैं, अगर कुछ बदला है तो सिर्फ राजनीति बदली है। इस बार दिल्ली की जनता ने एक ईमानदार सरकार चुनी और हमने स्कूलों में और अस्पतालों में अध्यापकों को और डॉक्टरों को काम करने की आजादी दी। उनके कामों में रोक-टोक नहीं की। समय पर सभी की तनख्वाह दी, दूसरे जो भी सहयोग सरकार से उन्हें चाहिए वह सब मुहैया कराए और इन सभी लोगों ने मिलकर आज दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों और अस्पतालों की कायापलट कर दी है। इस मौके पर श्री सत्येंद्र जैन ने कहा कि इस अस्पताल के विस्तार का सबसे प्रमुख कारण यह है कि छोटे अस्पतालों में अक्सर सभी सुविधाएं न होने के कारण मरीजों को बड़े अस्पतालों में रेफर कर दिया जाता है। अब जब यह आचार्य भिक्षु अस्पताल भी बड़ा अस्पताल बन जाएगा तो मरीजों को दूसरे अस्पतालों में रेफर करने की जरूरत नहीं पड़ेगी। सभी का इलाज यहीं हो सकेगा।
डेंगू के खिलाफ जन आंदोलन एक मात्र समाधान है : श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल
मोती नगर में सोमवार को आचार्य भिक्षु हॉस्पिटल में नये हॉस्पिटल ब्लॉक की आधारशिला रखने के मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि 2015 में जब हमारी सरकार बनी थी, उस समय दिल्ली में डेंगू के 15000 केस हुए थे। पूरी दिल्ली में अफरा-तफरी मची हुई थी, अस्पतालों में जहां जगह मिल रही थी, बालकनी में, बरामदे में हर जगह बेड लगवाए जा रहे थे, ताकि ज्यादा से ज्यादा लोगों को इलाज मिल सके। 2015 में डेंगू की वजह से लगभग 60 लोगों की मौत हो गई थी। पिछले साढ़े चार साल की कड़ी मेहनत के बाद हमने डेंगू पर काफी हद तक काबू पाया है। पिछले साल 15000 का वह आंकड़ा गिरकर 2700 पर आ गया है। साल 2018 और इस साल सभी विशेषज्ञों ने कहा कि डेंगू का मच्छर एक साइकल में ऑपरेट करता है और हम सबको इस बात के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए कि डेंगू के मामले बढ़ सकते हैं। लेकिन दिल्ली के लोगों के सहयोग से पिछले साल डेंगू के मामले नहीं बढ़े। इस साल भी हम लोगों को अपने घरों का निरीक्षण करना है। यह देखना है कि कहीं पर साफ पानी तो ठहरा हुआ नहीं है। ऐसी जगहों पर मच्छर पनप सकता है। हमने डेंगू के खिलाफ 10 हफ्ते, 10 बजे, 10 मिनट कैंपेन शुरू किया है। मैं दिल्लीवासियों से अनुरोध करता हूं कि सभी इस कैंपेन में शामिल हों। हम सबको मिलकर डेंगू को खत्म करने की जिम्मेदारी उठानी है।
प्रदूषण में 25 फीसदी की कमी आई है लेकिन पराली जलने वाले सीजन में तैयारी की जरूरत है :श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल
मोती नगर में सोमवार को आचार्य भिक्षु हॉस्पिटल में नये हॉस्पिटल ब्लॉक की आधारशिला रखने के मौके पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि सेंटर पलूशन कंट्रोल बोर्ड ने संसद में एक रिपोर्ट पेश की है जिसमें कहा गया है कि दिल्ली एकमात्र शहर है जहां प्रदूषण में 2015 से 25 फीसदी की गिरावट आई है। इसे हमें कम से कम 50 से 60 फीसदी तक कम करना है ताकि इसे सुरक्षित सीमा में लाया जा सके। अभी इस पर और काम करना है। प्रदूषण के स्तर को और घटाना है ताकि दिल्ली सेफ़ जोन में आ सके। हर साल नवंबर के महीने में हरियाणा और पंजाब में पराली जलाने के कारण दिल्ली में प्रदूषण बढ़ जाता है, उसके लिए भी दिल्ली सरकार तैयारी कर रही है। हरियाणा और पंजाब की सरकार के साथ बातचीत की कोशिश की जा रही है। साथ ही साथ इस समस्या के समाधान के लिए दिल्ली की जनता से सुझाव भी लिए जा रहे हैं कि किस प्रकार से इस समस्या से लड़ा जा सके।

Chief minister, Shri Arvind Kejriwal and Health Minister, Shri Satyendar Jain on Monday laid the foundation stone for a new hospital block for Delhi government’s Acharya Bhikshu Hospital in Moti Nagar, where the constituency MLA, Shri Shiv Charan Goel and Rajender Nagar MLA Shri Vijender Garg were also present at the ceremony.
Announcing the expansion plans of the Acharya Bhikshu hospital, Mr Kejriwal said, “I am delighted to announce the expansion of Acharya Bhikshu Hospital. A new block of 270 beds is being constructed here, that will increase the number of beds from 150 to 420.”
Congratulating the PWD and the hospital staff of the hospital, the Chief Minister said, “The construction of this block will be completed in the next 15 months by PWD.The services being added to this hospital will be such that even a top private hospital may not be able to provide. The PWD engineers have worked with great excellence.”
Commenting on the hospital and its condition before 2015, he said, “Earlier, nobody wanted to be left at the mercy of a government hospital. I have been told many instances about this very hospital I am standing in, about its shortcomings. But the transformation that I am witnessing today is commendable. With the same MS, the same doctors, the same nurses, etc., the hospital has been transformed. It is not the people who have changed, it is the politics that has. It is you people who have brought in such an honest government that ensures all officials have complete freedom to operate at their full potential.”

The chief minister also spoke of the public participation in the 10 Hafte 10 Baje 10 MInute campaign. Sharing details of the inception of the Delhi government’s fight against Dengue, the chief minister said, “Both in 2018, and this year, all experts have been telling us that the Dengue mosquito operates in a cycle and we should be prepared for a spike in cases. But the collective efforts by the people of Delhi did not let that happen last year. This year too, we have to inspect our houses for accumulation of clean stagnant water that becomes a place for mosquitoes to breed.”
“When we came into office in 2015, there were 15000 cases of Dengue in Delhi. There was chaos all over, I was traveling non-stop from one stop to another. There were 60 deaths that year. After four years of our government, there have been recorded only 2700 cases in 2018,” he said.
Pollution down by 25%, but need to be prepared for crop burning season: CM Shri Kejriwal
Referring to the Centre for Science and Environment’s report on declining pollution, the cheif minister said, “The Central Pollution Control Board has presented a report in the parliament, that Delhi is the only city to have witnessed a decrease in the pollution levels by 25% since this government was formed in 2015. We have to reduce it by at least 50-60% more to bring it into the safe limit.”
“Most importantly, we also have to prepare ourselves for the adverse effects of the pollution caused by crop burning from the neighboring states like Haryana and Punjab. We have also sought suggestions from people on how to combat the pollution from the neighboring states. We have been coordinating with those states and urged them to take steps in their own territorial limitations on residue burning. But we must also take some steps to protect our children,” said the chief minister.
Health Minister Shri Satyendar Jain said, “This expansion of Acharya Bhikshu Hospital will ensure people no longer have to be referred to bigger hospitals that are far away. People will get high quality treatment in this hospital itself.”
