समिति ने सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल को सौंपी रिपोर्ट, सीएम ने डेथ को शून्य पर लाने के दिए निर्देश

मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने दिल्ली के जिन 10 अस्पतालों में कोरोना मरीजों की सबसे अधिक मौतें हो रही थी, उनकी स्टर्डी के लिए चार सदस्यीय कमिटी बनाई थी, आज उन कमिटियों ने अपनी रिपोर्ट सीएम अरविंद केजरीवाल को सौंप दी है। 16 जुलाई को दिल्ली सरकार के स्वास्थ्य विभाग से दिल्ली के सभी अस्पतालों को चेकलिस्ट दी गई थी। जिसके आधार पर काम करने के कारण दिल्ली में कोरोना से मौत में भारी गिरावट आई है। लेकिन मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल की कोशिश है कि मौत को शून्य पर लाया जाए। इसके लिए कमिटियों ने 10 अस्पतालों का दौरा कर जांच की है। इसके बाद समितियों ने अपनी रिपोर्ट तैयार कर मुख्यमंत्री को सौंपा है। इस रिपोर्ट में समितियों ने सभी अस्पतालों के बारे में अलग-अलग सुझाव दिया है, जिसे अब दिल्ली सरकार लागू करेगी। सीएम ने बुधवार को एक बार फिर से दोहराया कि कोरोना से मौत को शून्य पर लाने के लिए हर कदम उठाए जाए। हालांकि इन सभी अस्पतालों में पहले के मुकाबले मौत की दर में कमी आई है। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल स्वयं कोविड-19 मरीजों की निगरानी कर रहे हैं। मुख्यमंत्री की सीधी निगरानी के कारण ही मौतों की दर में कमी आई है। जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप आज दिल्ली में कोविड से पहले की अपेक्षा काफी कम 11 मौतें हुई हैं।
उल्लेखनीय है कि मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल के निर्देश पर स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने बीते सप्ताह 4 समितियों का गठन किया था। सभी समितियों में 4-4 सदस्य थे। समिति में दो सदस्य आंतरिक चिकित्सा और दो सदस्य एनेस्थेसिया के विशेषज्ञ थे। इन चारों समिति को 10 अस्पतालों में कोविड मौतों के कारण का अध्ययन करने की जिम्मेदारी दी गई थी साथ ही यह समितियों को आवंटित अस्पतालों में यह भी देखेने के लिए कहा गया था कि कोविड मरीजों के इलाज में मानकों और प्रोटोकाॅल का पालन किया गया था या नहीं? समिति ने चेक लिस्ट के आधार पर सभी अस्पतालों का दौरा कर व्यवस्था का जायजा लिया। जिसकी विस्तृत रिपोर्ट बुधवार शाम मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल को सौंप दी। इस दौरान समिति की ओर से दिए गए सुझाव को लागू करने पर भी सहमति बनी है। समिति ने अलग-अलग अस्पतालों के लिए अलग-अलग सिफारिश की है।
समितियों द्वारा दिए गए सुझाव
जीटीबी अस्पताल
-कोविड वार्डों में शुरुआती जांच के लिए एचएफएनओ/ बीआईपीएपी मशीनों से लैस किया जाना चाहिए।
- बीमार मरीजों को आईसीयू में जल्दी पहुंचाना और शिफ्ट करना चाहिए।
- रोगी के इलाज में जल्दी प्लाज्मा का उपयोग बढ़ाएं।
सफदरजंग अस्पताल
- शुरुआती चेतावनी स्कोर कार्डों का उपयोग किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि मरीजों का तत्काल पता लगाया जा सके और उन्हें वार्डों से क्रिटिकल एरिया में स्थानांतरित किया जा सके।
- अधिक खतरे वाले मामलों को आईसीयू या एचडीयू में एन/एल अनुपात, क्यूएसओएफए, सूजन व जलन के चिन्हों व ट्रोप टी के शुरुआती संकेत पर स्थानांतरित किया जाना चाहिए।
– दूसरी स्थिति में कोविड आईसीयू बिस्तरों की संख्या बढ़ाई जा सकती है।
लोक नायक अस्पताल
- शुरुआती चेतावनी स्कोर कार्डों का उपयोग किया जाना चाहिए, ताकि मरीजों का तत्काल पता लगाया जा सके और उन्हें वार्डों से क्रिटिकल एरिया में स्थानांतरित किया जा सके।
– अधिक खतरे वाले मामलों को आईसीयू या एचडीयू में एन/एल अनुपात, क्यूएसओएफए, सूजन व जलन के चिन्हों व ट्रोप टी के शुरुआती संकेत पर स्थानांतरित किया जाना चाहिए।
सर गंगा राम अस्पताल
– तदनुसार लंबे समय तक वेंटिलेशन और प्रबंधन पर मरीजों में जटिलताओं का शीघ्र पता लगाना चाहिए।

Death monitoring committees submit report to CM Arvind Kejriwal, CM directs Health dept to bring deaths to zero
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had set up four committees to analyze the high mortality rate in 10 Covid-dedicated hospitals
Health department had sent a checklist to Delhi hospitals on July 16 whose implementation further decreased the death rates

New Delhi: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday convened a meeting with the committees which were constituted last month to inspect the 10 hospitals (government and private) in the city with the highest mortality rate, and give hospital-wise recommendations on following standard operating procedures and protocols. In the meeting, each of the four committees submitted their reports and presented recommendations to CM Arvind Kejriwal, to induce measures for the betterment of COVID patient care services and reducing mortality of COVID patients in the hospitals.
CM Arvind Kejriwal reiterated on Wednesday that all steps should be taken to bring deaths to zero. During the inspection by the committees, it was found that the death rate in all these hospitals has decreased as compared to earlier. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is personally monitoring all critical COVID-19 patients. Due to the direct intervention of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, immediate steps have been taken to reduce the rate of deaths in Delhi. On July 16, a checklist was sent by the Health department to the hospitals for Covid patient management which further helped reduce deaths due to Covid. As a result, the deaths in Delhi have come down to just 11 today.
The committees were constituted on July 30 as a part of CM Arvind Kejriwal’s efforts to reduce the death rate in the city. Various government and private hospitals such as Lok Nayak Hospital, GTB Hospital, Safdarjung Hospital, Max East & West, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, RML Hospital, Jaipur Golden Hospital, Sir Balaji Action Medical Institute, Escorts, and St. Stephen’s Hospital are being inspected by the committees. On the suggestions of the committees post their inspections of the hospitals, measures to contain the ward deaths and provide the best services to the COVID patients in the hospitals will be taken on behalf of the Delhi government.
Following the inspection at various government and private hospitals in Delhi, each of the committees proposed suggestions on reducing the mortality rate in the hospitals. Some of the key suggestions proposed in the meeting were:
GTB Hospital
- COVID wards to be equipped with HFNO/ BiPAP machines for early intervention
- Early recognition and transfer of sick patients to ICU
- Increase use of Convalescent Plasma early in the disease process
Safdarjung Hospital
- Early warning scorecards should be used to ensure prompt detection and shifting of patients from the wards to the critical areas
- High-risk cases should be transferred to ICU/ HDU at the earliest sign of deterioration on the basis of N/L ratio, qSOFA, raised inflammatory markers/ Trop T.
- Number of COVID ICU beds may be increased in case there is a second wave
Lok Nayak Hospital
- Early warning scorecards should be used to ensure prompt detection and shifting of patients from the wards to the critical areas
- High-risk cases should be transferred to ICU/ HDU at the earliest sign of deterioration on the basis of N/L ratio, qSOFA, raised inflammatory markers/Trop T.
Sir Ganga Ram Hospital
- Early detection of complications in patients on prolonged ventilation and management accordingly
Sir Balaji Action Medical Institute and Jaipur Golden Hospital
- Early application of HFNC is desirable and will help in improving patient outcome
