भगवान वाल्मीकि प्रकाशोत्सव पर सीएम ने कहा, मेरा सपना दलित समाज के बच्चे बनें डाक्टर-इंजीनियर

नई दिल्ली। मेरा सपना है कि दलित समाज के बच्चे पढ़कर डाक्टर-इंजीनियर बनें। यह बात मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने महर्षि वाल्मीकि प्रकाशोत्सक कार्यक्रम के दौरान कही। इस दौरान दलित समाज के बड़ी संख्या में लोग उपस्थित थें। सीएम ने शनिवार को सुल्तानपुरी के वाल्मीकि मंदिर में और वजीरपुर के JJ कॉलोनी में आयोजित प्रकाशोत्सव कार्यक्रम में आज पहुंचे। 13 अक्टूबर को पूरे देश में वाल्मीकि जयंती मनाई जाएगी।
प्रण लें बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा देंगे- सीएम केजरीवाल
भगवान वाल्मीकि प्रकाशोत्सव कार्यक्रम के दौरान मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि भगवान वाल्मीकि ऐसे व्यक्ति थें, जिन्होंने भगवान राम के पुत्रों लव-कुश को शिक्षा दी। इससे उनकी महानता को आसानी से समझा जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि हमें यह प्रण लेना चाहिए कि हम भी अपने बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा देंगे। पहले दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों की हालत खस्ता थी। पिछले पांच सालों में उसे आप की सरकार में निजी स्कूलों जैसा कर दिया गया है। अब आपका एक रुपया भी नहीं लगता और बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा मिल रही है। बारहवि के बाद देखा गया है कि अपने समाज के बच्चे कंप्टीशन की तैयारी करना चाहते हैं। इसके लिए भी सरकार ने इंतजाम कर दिया है। दलित समाज का बच्चा मेडिकल, इंजीनियरिंग या किसी की तैयारी के लिए कोचिंग करना चाहता है, उसके कोचिंग का सारा खर्च दिल्ली सरकार उठाएगी।
सीएम और दलित समाज का बच्चा आज साथ पढ़ रहे – सीएम
मुख्यमंत्री जय भीम प्रतिभा विकास योजना के तहत हमने दर्जी के बेटे विजय के कोचिंग का सारा खर्च उठाया था। उसका दाखिला आइआइटी में हो गया। मेरे बेटे का दाखिला भी आइआइटी में हुआ। अब दोंनो बच्चे साथ साथ पढ़ रहे। एक मुख्यमंत्री और दलित का बेटा साथ पढ़ रहे हैं। यही नहीं विजय के नंबर मेरे बेटे से ज्यादा हैं। बेटी शशि को NEET की कोचिंग करवाई और उसका भी दाखिला हो गया।
दलित समाज के विकास की चाभी शिक्षा – सीएम
बाबा साहेब अंबेडकर का जो सपना था, वही मेरा है। दलित समाज के विकास की एक ही चाभी है शिक्षा। राजनीतिक पार्टियों ने जानबूझकर दलित समाज को पीछे रखा। वह चालती हैं दलित समाज के बच्चे को सफाई कर्मचारी बनाओ। मेरा सपना है दलित समाज के बच्चों को डाक्टर-इंजीनियर बनाओ। आज आपलोग यहां से कसम खाकर जाओ कि बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा दोगे। पैसे की कमी नहीं होने देंगे हम। जितना पैसा लगेगा, मेरे पास आना। दिल्ली सरकार ने यह भी इंतजाम किया है कि दलित समाज के बच्चे सिविल सेवा या किसी भी कंप्टीशन की तैयारी करना चाहते हैं, बड़े से बड़े कोचिंग सेंटर में शिक्षा हम दिलाएंगे।
29 से डीटीसी बसों में महिलाओं को मुफ्त सफर – सीएम
सीएम ने कहा कि 29 अक्टूबर से डीटीसी बसों में महिलाओं का सफर फ्री हो जाएगा। हमने बिजली बिल, पानी सबके बिल माफ किए। आम आदमी पार्टी ही दलित समाज की पार्टी है, क्योंकि इसका चुनाव चिंह भी झाड़ू है। सीएम ने कहा दलित समाज पूरी तात से इस पार्टी के साथ खड़ी थी, है और रहेगी। जो काम सत्तर साल में नहीं हुए पांच साल में कर दिए। पिछली बार तीन सीट रह गई थी। इस बार उसे भी लाना है।

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday addressed the audience at a Valmiki Jayanti event organized in Sultanpuri and Wazirpur. On the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti, CM Kejriwal said that he dreams that Dalit community students should study and become doctors and engineers one day.
We should swear that we will only grant quality education to our children: CM Kejriwal
While addressing the event, CM Kejriwal said, “Lord Valmiki has been the only enlightening soul in the history of humankind. The greatness of his intelligence and soul can be proven by the fact that he has been a guru to Lord Rama’s children, Luv and Kush. If we are the true worshippers of Lord Valmiki, we should promise here and now that we will only give quality education to our children. Quality education was not easy earlier, children from poor families had to study in government schools. But in the past five years, our government has improved the conditions of government schools in Delhi. You do not have to spend a single penny from your pockets on your child’s education. After passing out from schools, many brilliant children cannot study further because of a lack of financial resources. Preparations from coaching institutions for competitive examinations after 12th standard generally means spending lakhs of rupees. To benefit the Dalit communities, the Delhi government will now bear the cost of their child’s entire education after 12th standard.”
A CM’s son and a Dalit son studying together today: CM Kejriwal
Vijay, a student belonging to the Dalit community, has been given financial assistance under Jai Bhim Pratibha Vikas Yojana introduced by the Delhi government for students belonging to financially backward families.
“Vijay’s father is a tailor and his mother is a domestic helper. We have aided him financially under Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojana. Vijay has been granted admission to IIT-Delhi now after he taking coaching under the scheme. Just like Vijay, my son also has been admitted to IIT-Delhi after coaching, and I am delighted to share that a chief minister’s son and a son belonging to the Dalit community will be studying together in the same college. Shashi, who also belongs to the Dalit community, took coaching for NEET has been granted admission to Lady Hardinge college,” said the Chief Minister.
Key to strengthening the Dalit community is Education: CM Kejriwal
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar had dreamt of a society in which Dalit community shall be treated with respect and equality.
“My dream is the same as that of Baba Saheb Ambedkar Ji, he said the key to strengthening the Dalit community is education. In the past 70 years, these political parties have strategized to continuously weaken the Dalit community. They dream of making Dalit children cleaners and helpers, and I dream of making them doctors and engineers. I was recently reading that Lord Valmiki had been the biggest source of knowledge and enlightenment. I will not let your child suffer because of a lack of money. If your child wants to take coaching for IAS, IPS or any other competitive examination, the Delhi government will bear the cost of coaching for your child,” said the Chief Minister.
Free Bus Rides for Women from 29th October: CM Kejriwal
CM Arvind Kejriwal also announced that women citizens of Delhi will be getting free bus rides from 29th October. He also said that the broom symbol of the Aam Aadmi Party denotes that Aam Aadmi Party is in favor of the Dalit community and the community has always supported the party at every step. “We have done a lot of things for the people, such as zero electricity bills, zero water bills, CCTV cameras, street lights, teerth-yatra yojana, etc. I am sure that this time, your party AAP will win all 70 seats in Delhi,” said CM Arvind Kejriwal.
