आम आदमी पार्टी मुख्यालय में हुई एक प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक गोपाल राय ने कहा कि दिल्ली में बढ़ते अपराध और भाजपा नगर निगम की नाकामियाँ इस बात को साबित करती है कि भाजपा दिल्ली की जनता को सुरक्षा एवं स्वस्थ वातावरण देने में अक्षम है।
गोपाल राय ने पिछले दिनों प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की भतीजी के साथ हुई लूटपाट की वारदात का हवाला देते हुए कहा कि अगर खुद प्रधानमंत्री जी की भतीजी सुरक्षित नही है तो देश की आम जनता का क्या हाल होगा ? उन्होंने कहा क्योंकि यह घटना प्रधानमंत्री जी के परिवार से जुड़ी थी, तो दिल्ली पुलिस ने तुरंत प्रभाव से कार्यवाही कर अपराधियों को पकड़ लिया। परंतु धरातल की सच्चाई कुछ और ही है। उन्होंने इस साल सितंबर तक दिल्ली में दर्ज हुए अपराधों का उदाहरण देते हुए कहा कि इस साल सितंबर तक दिल्ली में दो लाख बारह हज़ार सात सौ तिहत्तर केस दर्ज किए गए। क्योंकि ये सभी केस आम जनता से जुड़े हुए हैं इसीलिए अभी तक किसी भी केस में कोई संतोषजनक कार्यवाही नही हुई।
दिल्ली में इस साल सितंबर तक हुई अलग-अलग वारदातों के आंकड़ों को गिनाते हुए गोपाल राय ने कहा कि इस साल दिल्ली में रेप के 1609, हत्या के 373 के दर्ज किए गए है। उन्होंने बताया कि मात्र सितम्बर के महीने में ही हत्या के 40 और हत्या की कोशिश के 35 केस, 130 केस रौबरी के, 420 केस झपटमारी के, 160 केस रेप के, 200 केस छेड़छाड़ के, 450 केस किडनेपिंग के, 150 केस घरों में चोरी के और 3400 केस गाड़ियो के चोरी के दर्ज किए गए हैं। ये सारा रिकॉर्ड दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा दिया गया है।
गोपाल राय ने कहा पहले तो यूपी और बिहार में ही जंगलराज बताया जाता था, लेकिन भारतीय जनता पार्टी की सरकार की नाकामियों ने दिल्ली में भी जंगलराज बना दिया है।
गोपाल राय ने भाजपा पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि दिल्ली में बढ़ते अपराधों और असुरक्षा का जो बोल-बाला है उसको छुपाने के लिए भाजपा के नेता नए-नए मुखौटे अपना रहें हैं। देश की बड़ी-बड़ी समस्याओं के समाधान का दावा करने वाले भाजपा के नेता दिल्लीवासियों की समस्याओं का सामाधान निकालने के बजाय अपनी नाकामियों को NRC का मुखौटा लगा कर ढक रहे हैं।
दिल्ली पुलिस और केंद्र सरकार से सवाल करते हुए गोपाल राय ने कहा कि जब प्रधानमंत्री की भतीजी का मामला होता है तो उसे 24 घंटो में सुलझा दिया जाता है, वहीं दूसरी तरफ जब आम जनता की सामस्याओं की बात होती है तो यह मुश्तैदी कहां चली जाती है। दिल्ली पुलिस इस बात की रिपोर्ट दे कि इस साल दर्ज किए गए दो लाख बारह हज़ार सात सौ तिहत्तर केसो में से कितने केस उन्होंने सुलझाए हैं। अगर दिल्ली पुलिस इस बात का जवाब नही देती तो इसका मतलब बहुत साफ है कि नीचे से लेकर उपर तक सभी लोग भ्रष्टाचार में संलिप्त है।
गोपाल राय ने कहा दिल्ली के अंदर बीजेपी के सिर्फ दो कार्य हैं जिसे जनहित में करना है, एक तो दिल्ली की कानून व्यवस्था को सुचारू ठंग से चलाना और दूसरा सफाई का जो भाजपा शासित दिल्ली नगर निगम के अंतर्गत आता हैं। लेकिन बीजेपी इन दो कार्यो को भी ठीक तरीके से नही कर पा रही है।
गोपाल राय ने भाजपा को खुली चुनौती देते हुए कहा कि भाजपा नेता दिल्ली में हुई हर घटना को घुसपैठियों के साथ जोड़कर प्रस्तुत करते हैं, तो ये बाताएं कि कितने बांग्लादेसियों और पाकिस्तानियों को हत्या करने, झपटमारी तथा अन्य अपराध करने के अंतर्गत इन्होंने गिरफ्तार किया है। अगर बीजेपी नही बताती तो यह बात साबित हो जाती है कि NRC का मुद्दा केवल एक चुनावी पैंतरा है। गोपाल राय ने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी इनके खिलाफ पोल खोल अभियान शुरू करेगी।

The Aam Aadmi Party on Monday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party over the increasing crime incidents in the city. Cabinet Minister and AAP Delhi Convenor Mr Gopal Rai demanded the BJP to release a white paper on the registered crime cases this year till September in Delhi. ” We demand a white paper on the registered cases this and want to know why the criminals are not being arrested yet,” said Mr Rai.
He said that in Delhi, the crime is increasing every day and this is making Delhi unsafe for the common people and this raises the question what is the reason behind the increasing number of crimes in the city.
He said, “If the BJP does not reveal the reason for the increasing crimes and the police inaction then the AAP will hold Pol Kholo Abhiyan to expose the BJP.”
Revealing the records of the Delhi Police Mr Rai said, “Till September this year there 2,12,773 registered incidents of crimes. According to the data this year in Delhi 1609 rape cases are being registered and murder cases are 373. Only in September 40 murder, 35 attempts to murder, 130 robberies, 420 snatchings, 160 rape cases, 200 molestation cases, 450 kidnapping cases, 200 burglaries,150 house theft and 3400 motor vehicle theft are being registered.”
He slammed the BJP by saying that Delhi is becoming a “Jangal Raaj”. “Earlier, people used to say that Jangal Raaj is dominant in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh but now due to the miserable failure of the BJP, in Delhi, the Jangal Raaj has become predominant.”
Mr Rai said that in the past few days BJP leaders are giving random statements on the increasing crime situation and they are trying to hide the reality from the people. “In Delhi, only two works are under the purview of the BJP. One is the sanitation which comes under the MCDs and the second one is law and order which comes directly under the Home Ministry led by Mr Amit Shah,” said Mr Rai.
He added that when the snatching incident happened with the niece of Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi then the whole police department became hyperactive and solved the case within 24 hours. ” But what is the condition of the registered cases? Why not are the police working on those cases to arrest the criminal?”
Mr Rai said that the BJP is not working towards the solution of this situation but they are talking about bringing NRC in Delhi. “I want to challenge the Center that please reveal how many Bangladeshis or terrorists of Pakistan are involved in these cases and why they are not arrested yet. The main reason behind such increasing crime is corruption which is present within the police system from bottom to top, therefore, the BJP is bringing the NRC issue to divert the attention.”
