आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के मुख्य प्रवक्ता एवं विधायक सौरभ भारद्वाज ने दिल्ली नगर निगम (एमसीडी) को लेकर भाजपा पर निशाना साधा। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर भाजपा एमसीडी को नहीं चला पा रही है, तो वह इसे खाली कर दें, हम इसे चलाकर दिखाएंगे। साथ ही उन्होंने दिल्ली के लोगों से भी अपील करते हुए कहा कि आप दिल्ली नगर निगम हमें दें, हम इसे इतने ही बजट में चलाकर दिखाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि जब से एमसीडी में भाजपा आई है तब से हम उनका रोना ही सुन रहे हैं। वह सिर्फ छोटे बच्चों की तरह रो रहे हैं।
सौरभ भारद्वाज ने गुरुवार को पार्टी मुख्यालय में प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि भाजपा की एमसीडी के पास डॉक्टरों को देने के लिए पैसे नहीं होते, डॉक्टर हड़ताल पर चले जाते हैं। अस्पताल के अंदर मरीज बिना इलाज के मर जाते हैं। इनके पास सफाई कर्मचारियों को देने के लिए पैसे नहीं होते। सफाई कर्मचारी हड़ताल पर चले जाते हैं, पूरी दिल्ली कूड़ा-कूड़ा हो जाती हैं, भाजपा ने दिल्ली को कूड़े का प्रदेश बना दिया हैं। दिल्ली की जनता परेशान होती है लेकिन भाजपा शासित एमसीडी को कोई फर्क नहीं पड़ता है।
उन्होंने आगे कहा कि जब भाजपा ने एमसीडी का चुनाव लड़ा, तो उनको अच्छी तरह पता था कि एमसीडी का कितना बजट है। उनको मालूम था कि एमसीडी के कर्मचारियों को वेतन देना पड़ता है। सारी जानकारी होने के बाद ही उन्होंने चुनाव लड़ा और एमसीडी की जिम्मेदारी संभाली। हम भाजपा को कहना चाहते हैं कि वो बच्चों की तरह रोना बंद करे। अगर आप वेतन दे सकते हैं, तभी एमसीडी में रहें, अन्यथा इस्तीफा देकर इसे खाली कर दें। हम इतने ही बजट में एमसीडी को अच्छी तरह चलाकर दिखाएंगे।
‘आप’ कार्यकर्ता व नेता लोगों के बीच जाएं और एमसीडी ‘आप’ को देने की अपील करें- सौरभ भारद्धाज
मीडिया के माध्यम से सौरभ भारद्वाज ने पार्टी के कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं से एक अपील भी की। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारे जितने भी नेता और कार्यकर्ता हैं, वो अच्छी तरह से जानते हैं कि दिल्ली के लोगों की 95 प्रतिशत परेशानियां सिर्फ एमसीडी से जुड़ी हुई हैं और लोग इस बारे में हमसे बात करते हैं। मैं अपने कार्यकर्ताओं और नेताओं से कहना चाहता हूं कि वो लोगों के बीच जाकर अपील करें कि वो एमसीडी हमें दें, हम दिल्ली को स्वच्छ बनाकर दिखाएंगे। हम झाड़ू भी लगाएंगे और कूड़ा भी उठाएंगे और दिल्ली को स्वच्छ बनाकर दिखाएंगे।
सौरभ भारद्धाज ने कहा कि प्रदेश की कॉलोनियों की सड़कें 15 साल से नहीं बनीं हैं। हमारे नेता और कर्मचारी दिल्ली के लोगों से कहें कि एमसीडी हमें दीजिए हम सड़कें बनवाएंगे, हम दिल्ली के पार्कों को साफ कर के दिखाएंगे, डॉक्टरों और कर्मचारियों को वेतन नहीं मिल रहा है, आप एमसीडी हमें दो, हम वेतन देकर दिखाएंगे। हम बिना टैक्स बढ़ाए, बिना भ्रष्टाचार करे, इतने ही बजट में, एमसीडी को चलाकर दिखाएंगे।
आप नेता ने आगे कहा, हम लोगों से कहना चाहते हैं कि दिल्ली में नालों की सफाई नहीं हो पाती, बरसात में दिल्ली डूब जाती है, आप एमसीडी हमें दीजिए, हम स्वच्छ और बिना जलभराव वाली दिल्ली बनाकर दिखाएंगे। हम अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर की दिल्ली बनाकर दिखाएंगे। जिस तरह से हमारा शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य का मॉडल पूरे देश में जाना जाता है, उसी तरह दिल्ली नगर निगम का मॉडल भी पूरे देश में जाना जाएगा।

The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday launched a fresh attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party-led MCDs of Delhi over their perpetual complaining regarding the lack of funds. AAP chief spokesperson and MLA Mr Saurabh Bhardwaj said if BJP cannot run the MCDs then they must immediately resign; the AAP will run the same MCDs with the available fund and budget. He said that the AAP will tell people to give the responsibility of the MCDs to the AAP and will perform every work in a much better way. Mr Bhardwaj said that AAP will not increase any tax or do any corruption when they get the responsibility of running the MCDs, therefore, without increasing budget or fund, we will smoothly run the MCDs. He said that AAP will make Delhi a world-class city and make a cleanliness model for Delhi when we come to the power in MCDs.

“Every citizen of Delhi is aware of the fact that the Bharatiya Janata Party-led municipal corporations of Delhi are a complete failure. The doctors of the BJP ruled MCD hospitals are not getting paid and the teachers are also not getting their salaries. The Safai karamcharis of the BJP ruled MCDs have been protesting all over Delhi. This has created a huge mess and with every passing day, the capital city is becoming dirtier. When the Bharatiya Janata Party came in power of MCDs they were aware of the budget of each MCD. The Bharatiya Janata Party had all the information regarding the budget by which they are supposed to pay the salaries of the employees. But we always see that Bharatiya Janata Party leaders cry about lack of funds,” said Mr Bhardwaj.

“On behalf of the Aam Aadmi Party, I have a very simple demand that the Bharatiya Janata Party should immediately stop this drama of complaining and crying about the lack of funds. We demand that if the Bharatiya Janata Party believes that they cannot run the MCDs then they should resign from the MCDs. The Aam Aadmi Party will ensure that we will run the same municipal corporations of Delhi within the same fund and same budget but we will pay everyone their salaries,” said Mr Bhardwaj.

“As an MLA whenever I go to any place the people of that area complain about the BJP ruled MCDs. Today I will request all the Aam Aadmi Party volunteers and leaders that whenever anyone complains about the MCD tell them to handover the work of MCDs to the Aam Aadmi Party and we will perform the work with utmost care. We will tell the people if the BJP ruled MCDs are not cleaning the drains then we will clean the drains, if they are not cleaning the garbage then we will clean the garbage, if people complain that in their area road-building work is pending then we will tell them that give the responsibility of MCDs to us and we will make the roads. We will also tell them that we will make better parks if we get the power of MCDs,” said Mr Bhardwaj.

“In Delhi, the doctors and teachers are not getting salary because the BJP ruled MCDs are claiming that they do not have funds. We want to ensure the citizens of Delhi that give the power of MCDs to us, each and everyone will get the salary. We will not increase any tax, we will not do any corruption and run the MCDs very honestly. So without increasing budget or fund, we will smoothly run the MCDs,” he said.

“At the time of rainy season every year Delhi suffers from massive waterlogging and the reason behind this is that the BJP ruled municipal corporations of Delhi do not clean the drains. If we get the power to run the municipal corporations of Delhi then we want to ensure that citizens that we will make Delhi as a world-class city and no waterlogging will take place. The Aam Aadmi Party government has established a revolutionary health and education model and in the same way, if we get the responsibility of MCD then we will create a cleanliness model of Delhi,” said Mr Bhardwaj.
