पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता राघव चड्ढा ने कहा कि दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी द्वारा किए जाने वाले हर जनहित के कार्य का जिस प्रकार से भाजपा विरोध करती है, वह भाजपा की नकारात्मक मानसिकता और दिल्ली में आने वाले चुनाव के प्रति भाजपा की घबराहट को दर्शाता है।
पार्टी मुख्यालय में हुई एक प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए राघव चड्ढा ने कहा कि कल दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री श्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने अपने चुनावी घोषणापत्र का आखरी वादा फ्री वाई-फाई भी पूरा किया। उन्होंने कहा कि मुझे लगता है अरविंद केजरीवाल जी, आजाद भारत के इतिहास में, लोकतांत्रिक ढंग से चुने हुए पहले ऐसे मुख्यमंत्री हैं, जिन्होंने अपने सारे वादे बिंदुवार तरीके से पूरे करें। घोषणापत्र में लिखे 70 के 70 वादे पूरे किए और जनता के समक्ष एक रिपोर्ट कार्ड प्रस्तुत किया।
राघव चड्ढा ने कहा कि कल से जिस प्रकार भारतीय जनता पार्टी फ्री वाईफाई का विरोध कर रही है यह अपने आप में बेहद ही दुखद है। हम भाजपा की इस जन विरोधी मानसिकता की कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करते हैं कि वाईफाई जैसे जनहित के कार्य, जिससे कि लाखों लोगों को लाभ पहुंचेगा, भाजपा उसका भी विरोध कर रही है।
उन्होंने कहा कि एक तरफ तो भाजपा का गवर्नेंस मॉडल है और एक तरफ दिल्ली में केजरीवाल सरकार का गवर्नेंस मॉडल है। भाजपा के गवर्नेंस मॉडल में प्याज की कीमत आसमान छूती है, फोन मैसेज के, डाटा के पैसे बढ़ जाते हैं, भाजपा के मॉडल में जरूरत की सभी चीजों की कीमतें आसमान छू रही हैं, मेट्रो का किराया बढ़ाया जाता है। वहीं दूसरी तरफ अरविंद केजरीवाल सरकार का गवर्नेंस मॉडल है जिसमें पानी मुफ्त मिलता है, बिजली मुफ्त मिलती है, अस्पतालों में सभी इलाज-दवाइयाँ मुफ्त मिलती हैं, महिलाओं को डीटीसी बस में मुफ्त यात्रा मिलती है, फ्री वाईफाई मिलता है, बुज़ुर्गों को मुफ्त तीर्थ यात्रा कराई जाती है, सीवर चार्जेस फ्री कर दिए जाते हैं।
राघव चड्ढा ने कहा कि अरविंद केजरीवाल जी ने अपने गुड गवर्नेंस मॉडल के तहत दिल्ली की जनता से किए फ्री वाईफाई के वादे को पूरा किया। परंतु यह बेहद ही दुखद है कि भाजपा के दो सांसदों विजय गोयल जी एवं गौतम गंभीर जी ने जिस प्रकार से फ्री वाईफाई का विरोध किया, उसका मजाक उड़ाया और उसकी अवहेलना की।
मीडिया के माध्यम से राघव चड्ढा ने भाजपा के दिल्ली प्रदेश से सातों सांसद एवं राज्यसभा से सांसद विजय गोयल जी से पांच प्रश्न पूछे….
1) भाजपा क्यों फ्री वाईफाई जैसे जनहित के कार्य का विरोध कर रही है?
2) भाजपा ने 100 स्मार्ट सिटी बनाने का वादा किया, परंतु एक भी स्मार्ट सिटी नहीं बनाई। आज जब अरविंद केजरीवाल जी दिल्ली को स्मार्ट सिटी बना रहे हैं तो भाजपा को तकलीफ क्यों हो रही है?
3) भाजपा एवं संघ की हमेशा से जो महिला विरोधी सोच रही है, कि महिलाओं को जींस नहीं पहननी चाहिए, महिलाओं को फोन इस्तेमाल नहीं करने चाहिए, क्या इसी मानसिकता के तहत भाजपा फ्री वाई-फाई का विरोध कर रही है?
4) दिल्ली में रहने वाले गरीब तबके से जुड़े युवा फ्री वाई-फाई के जरिए देश और दुनिया में उपलब्ध तकनीकियों का लाभ न उठा सके तथा सामाजिक स्तर पर और अधिक पिछड़ जाएं, क्या भाजपा इसलिए मुफ्त वाईफाई का विरोध कर रही है?
5) क्या भाजपा इसलिए वाईफाई का विरोध कर रही है, कि मुफ्त वाईफाई मिलने से लोग सही जानकारी प्राप्त कर सकेंगे और भाजपा जो झूठ और प्रोपेगेंडा समाज के बीच फैलाती है, उसका पर्दाफाश हो जाएगा?
प्रेस वार्ता में मौजूद आम आदमी पार्टी की वरिष्ठ नेता एवं प्रवक्ता आतिशी ने कहा कि जिस प्रकार से भारतीय जनता पार्टी के सांसद फ्री वाईफाई जैसे एक विकासात्मक कदम की आलोचना कर रहे हैं यह बेहद ही दुखद है।
उन्होंने कहा कि आज दिल्ली के सभी युवा, कॉलेजों में पढ़ने वाले छात्र-छात्राएं, प्राइवेट कंपनियों में नौकरी करने वाले लोग, सभी चाहते हैं कि दिल्ली में फ्री वाई-फाई की सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाए और जैसा कि टेलीफोन कंपनियों द्वारा इंटरनेट डाटा के दाम बढ़ाए जा रहे हैं, उसको देखते हुए फ्री वाईफाई की जरूरत और अधिक बढ़ गई है। बाहरी देशों के कुछ शहरों का उदाहरण देते हुए आतिशी ने कहा, कि दिल्लीवासियों के लिए यह बेहद ही गर्व की बात है कि अब दिल्ली भी विश्व के उन आधुनिक शहरों की सूची में शामिल होने जा रहा है जिन्हें पूरी दुनिया में फ्री वाईफाई के लिए जाना जाता है।
आतिशी ने कहा कि शायद भाजपा एक ऐसी पार्टी है जो पुरानी और नकारात्मक सोच रखती है। यही कारण है कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी इस विकासात्मक और अद्भुत कदम का समर्थन करने का साहस नहीं जुटा पा रही है। उन्होंने कहा कि जहां पूरे देश में भारतीय जनता पार्टी जीडीपी को गड्ढे में लेकर जा रही है, वहीं दिल्ली में आम आदमी पार्टी की सरकार अपने राज्य का जीडीपी स्तर लगातार बढ़ाती जा रही है। भारतीय जनता पार्टी नहीं चाहती कि फ्री वाईफाई आ जाने के बाद दिल्ली की बढ़ती हुई जीडीपी में और सुधार हो, क्योंकि यह देखा गया है कि जिस भी राज्य में, जिस भी शहर में फ्री वाई-फाई की सुविधा मुहैया कराई गई, कम्युनिकेशन और कनेक्टिविटी बढ़ने की वजह से उस शहर की जीडीपी में बढ़ोतरी हुई है।
आतिशी ने कहा कि मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल जी का मुफ्त वाईफाई मुहैया कराने का यह कदम दिल्ली में 8% की दर से बढ़ते जीडीपी को और आगे लेकर जाएगा। परंतु यह बेहद ही दुख की बात है कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी ऐसे विकासात्मक कदम का विरोध कर रही है।

The Aam Aadmi Party on Thursday slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party for opposing the free Wi-Fi scheme of the AAP government. The AAP observed that the BJP is opposing such welfare scheme by the Delhi government because of their anti-people mindset through the politics of negativity.
“Today AAP will expose BJP’s negative politics, anti-people mindset and anti-people political statements. We are confident that the BJP is opposing every welfare scheme of the AAP government through negative campaigns because they are scared of succumbing in the upcoming Vidhan Sabha election,” said national spokesperson of AAP, Mr Raghav Chadha.
He said that yesterday Delhi Chief Minister Mr Arvind Kejriwal has fulfilled the last promise of the AAP manifesto by announcing the free Wi-Fi scheme. “I think he is the only CM of the country who has fulfilled all the promises of the election manifesto,” said Mr Chadha.
He also said that just after the announcement by the Delhi Chief Minister, the BJP started opposing the free Wi-Fi scheme and the AAP condemns such anti-people politics.
“We believe that opposing any welfare scheme for political purposes must be avoided. There are two models of governance in front of the people; one is the BJP’s model of governance and the second one is AAP’s model of governance. In BJP’s model of governance, onion price is skyrocketing, mobile data price is increasing, price of essential items is increasing and the metro fare has already increased and in AAP’s model of governance citizens get free electricity, free water, free Wi-Fi and free travel for women in buses,” said Mr Chadha.
He also said, “Yesterday BJP MP Mr Vijay Goel and Mr Gautam Gambhir made fun of the free Wi-Fi scheme, therefore, today on behalf of the AAP I want to ask five questions to all the seven BJP MPs of Loksabha from Delhi and BJP’s Rajaya Sabha MP Mr Vijay Goel.”

1) Why is the BJP opposing a welfare scheme like free Wi-Fi of the Arvind Kejriwal government?
2)When the AAP govt is fulfilling the dream of making Delhi a smart city by providing free Wi-Fi then why is the BJP opposing such step? Significantly, the BJP itself always talks about making 100 smart cities in India which they have not fulfilled yet.
3)Is the BJP trying to promote the orthodox and non-progressive ideas of the RSS which says women should not wear jeans or use mobile phones by opposing free Wi-Fi scheme?
4)Does the BJP want the youth and the poor people of Delhi should not progress and lag in their life by using new-age technology like Wi-Fi?
5)Is the BJP frightened of people getting correct information by using free Wi-Fi because this way people will not believe the propaganda, misinformation and fake news of BJP?
Adding to his statements, senior AAP leader and national spokesperson Ms Atishi said, “ I am saddened to see that the BJP MPs are opposing a progressive and new age technology like Wi-Fi. Today every student, youth and working professionals need free Wi-Fi for their studies and jobs because there is a sudden hike in the price of data.”
She said that by making Wi-Fi free Delhi will stand at the same platforms with the cities like Melbourne, Seoul, Taipei and Singapore. “BJP is a non-progressive political party and affected by the old school thoughts, therefore, they are not accepting a progressive idea like free Wi-Fi. In the past five-years Delhi is the only state which has maintained over 8% GDP whereas under the BJP the Indian economy has reached a new low. We all know that if the communication infrastructure of a state gets better then the GDP also increases and by the free Wi-Fi scheme Delhi’s economy will bloom and BJP is scared of such flourishing economic model,” said Ms Atishi.
