नई दिल्ली : देशभक्ति पाठ्यक्रम बनाने के लिए गठित कमेटी के साथ मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने बृहस्पतिवार को पहली बार बैठक की। जिसमें उन्होंने कमेटी के सामने साफ किया कि उनकी नजर में देश से प्यार और देश के प्रति जिम्मेदारी है असली देशभक्ति है। उन्होंने इसी तर्ज पर पाठ्यक्रम बनाने की अपेक्षा की। कमेटी ने काम पाठ्यक्रम बनाने का काम शुरू कर दिया है। इसी क्रम में बच्चों से सुझाव मांगे गए थें। बच्चों की ओर से आए सुझाव से सीएम को अवगत कराया गया। बच्चों के सुझाव सुन कर सीएम ने कहा, अगर हमारे बच्चे ऐसे सोच रहेहैं तो देश का भविष्य सुनहरा दिख रहा है।
देशभक्ति के संदर्भ में बच्चों के तरफ से आए सुझाव
- अपने काम के प्रति ईमानदारी का भाव।
- किसी चिड़िया की कहानी । पशु पक्षियों की जरूरतों का ध्यान रखना बना
- लोगों में जात पात का अंतर / भेदभाव न रखना ।
- ईर्ष्या, अहंकार आदि न करना ।
- नियमों का पालन करना ।
6 अच्छी आदतें अपनाना - कागज, पानी, बिजली बचाना ।
- भारत स्वच्छ और स्वस्थ रहे।
- अच्छा इंसान बनना ।
- भाईचारा, कर्तव्यों का पालन करना ।
- प्रदूषण न करना
- महिलाओं को सम्मान देना
- हेलमेट पहनना ।
सीएम ने कमेटी को कहा कि जनता की राय भी ली जाए। जिससे पता चले कि उनके लिए देशभक्ति क्या है? मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि वह दिल्ली के सभी सरकारी और निजी स्कूल के अभिभावकों को पत्र लिखकर खुद भी जानकारी लेंगे कि बच्चों को देशभक्ति पाठ्यक्रम में क्यि पढ़ाया जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने बैठक में कहा कि उनकी नजर देश भक्ति का मतलब यह है कि हम टैक्स की चोरी न करें, रिश्वत न लें न दें। ऐसा करने वाले देशभक्त नहीं हो सकते। उन्होंने कहा कि आम आदमी जिंदगी में इतना ज्यादा मशूल हो गया है, उसके पास देश के बारे में सोचने का वक्त ही नहीं है। सिर्फ इंडिया पाकिस्तान मैच में देशभक्ति नहीं निकलकर आ सकती। हमारे संस्कृति के लिए, हमारे देश के लोगों के लिए प्यार और गर्व महसूस होना चाहिए। उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी जिम्मेदारी है कि यह सब बच्चों में कूट-कूट कर भरा जाए। कई बार जापान के बारे में कहानियां सुनते है। वहां के लोग कितने मदद होते हैं। वह अनजान लोगों की मदद करते हैं। यह है देशभक्ति। असली शिक्षा की सार्थकता तभी है जब बच्चों म़े यह सब आए।
कमेटी ने सीएम को बताया की क्लास 1 से 12 के मौजूद पाठ्यक्रम में ऐसे चैप्टर की सूची बनाई जा रही हैं जिसमे देशभक्ति को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा हो।
मुख्यमंत्री ने कमेटी से कहा कि पाठ्यक्रम में ऐसी बातें शामिल हो, जिससे आने वाली पीढ़ियों में बेहतर सिविक सेंस विकसित हो सके। वह अच्छे नागरिक बन सकें। उन्होंने कमेटी को कहा कि देशभक्ति का मतलब यह हो कि हम रेड लाईट जंप न करें। हम इधर-उधर कूड़ा न फेंके। हम अपनी जिम्मेदारी का इमानदारी से निर्वहन करें। हम न तो घूस दें और न लें। हमारा व्यवहार ऐसा होना चाहिए, जो देश को आगे ले जाए। तभी देश का विकास होगा। कमेटी ने मुख्यमंत्री को आश्वासन दिया कि पाठ्यक्रम को इसी हिसाब से बनाया जाएगा।
मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने स्वतंत्रता दिवस की पूर्व संध्या पर घोषित किया था कि विद्यार्थियों के मन में देश प्रेम पैदा करने के लिए अगले साल सरकारी स्कूलों में ’देशभक्ति’ का नया पाठ्यक्रम शुरू किया जाएगा। उस दौरान मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा था कि आम तौर पर हमें अपने देश के प्रति प्रेम की याद तब दिलाई जाती है जब भारत-पाकिस्तान के बीच मैच हो या सीमा पर तनाव हो। रोजमर्रा के जीवन में हम अपना देश भूल जाते हैं। ‘देशभक्ति’ पाठ्यक्रम की शुरुआत की जा रही है ताकि प्रत्येक नागरिक अपने देश से सच्चा प्रेम कर सके। इससे बच्चे जब बड़े होंगे और काम करना शुरू करेंगे और किसी समय अगर वह रिश्वत लेंगे तो उन्हें यह जरूर महसूस होना चाहिए कि उन्होंने अपनी ‘भारत माता’ को धोखा दिया है। जब वह यातायात का नियम तोड़ें तो उन्हें लगे कि उन्होंने अपने देश के साथ गलत किया है।
अरविंद केजरीवाल का कहना है कि बच्चों को देश के गौरव के बारे में जरूर पढ़ाया जाना चाहिए। प्रत्येक बच्चे को उसकी जिम्मेदारी और देश के प्रति कर्तव्यों से अवगत कराना चाहिए। भारत के सामने सैंकड़ों समस्याएं हैं। हम गरीब हैं, हमारे किसान आत्महत्या कर रहे हैं। लेकिन ये सारी समस्याएं कौन सुलझाएगा? हमें ही इसके समाधान तलाशने होंगे।’

– CM to seek opinions from all private and government school parents on patriotism
– First ever meeting with the Curriculum committee on Deshbhakti Pathyakram held on Thursday by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal
NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held his first meeting on Thursday with a committee set up to formulate the curriculum on Deshbhakti Pathyakram. Addressing the meeting, the CM directed the committee that the curriculum must instil a feeling of love and responsibility towards the country. Discussions were held on how the committee has started preparing the syllabus.
The committee shared with the CM that suggestions had been sought from the children, which were conveyed to the CM in the meeting. Listening to the children’s suggestions, the CM said, “If our children think like this, our country has a bright future.”
Suggestions from children in the context of patriotism
- A sense of honesty towards your work.
- Humane behavior towards animals and birds.
- No discrimination or indifference against any caste or people from other castes
- No jealousy, arrogance, etc.
- Following rules.
- Adopting Good Habits
- Saving paper, water and electricity.
- Making India clean and healthy.
- Being a good human being.
- No to pollution or littering
- Respect for Women
- Wearing helmets.
The CM asked the committee to seek public opinion to know what patriotism means for them. He also said that he will write to all government and private school guardians in Delhi to suggest to him about what can be included in the Deshbhakti Pathyakram.
The Chief Minister said in the meeting that his definition of patriotism is rhe feeling that encourages people not to evade taxes, pay or accept bribes. Those who do this cannot be patriotic.
The Chief Minister said, “The common man has gotten so busy in his own life, that he has no time to think about the country. Patriotism cannot come out in an India-Pakistan match alone. For our culture, the people of our country should feel love and pride. It is our responsibility to instill the feelings in our children. We have heard stories about Japan. People are extremely helpful even to strangers. This is patriotism and true love for the country. The significance of real education is only when all this comes to the children.”
The committee notified in the meeting that in the existing syllabus of class 1 to 12, a list of chapters is being prepared that already talk of patriotism.
The Chief Minister told the committee that the syllabus should include things that would lead to better civic and developmental sense in the coming generations.
“Patriotism means that we should not jump red lights and we should not litter. Let us discharge our responsibility honestly. We should not bribe or take bribes. Our behavior should be such that it takes the country forward. It is only then that our country can grow,” said the Chief Minister.
The committee assured the Chief Minister that the syllabus would be prepared accordingly.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced Deshbhakti Pathyakram, a new ‘patriotic’ course on the eve of Independence Day, to be introduced in government schools next year to inculcate the love for the nation in the minds of students. The Chief Minister had mentioned about how people are generally reminded of their love for India only when there is an India-Pakistan match or tension on the border and not during their day-to-day activities.
“Deshbhakti Pathyakram is being introduced so that every citizen can truly love his country. When the children grow up and start working and at some point of time, if they take bribes, they must realize that they have betrayed their ‘Bharat Mata’. When he breaks the traffic rules, he feels that he has done wrong with his country,” said the CM.
“India has hundreds of problems. We are poor, our farmers are committing suicide. But who will solve all these problems? We have to find solutions,” said the Chief Minister.
