दिल्ली सरकार के कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड – “वन” को बेस्ट इंटेलिजेंट ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम प्रोजेक्ट केटैगरी में अवॉर्ड से नवाजा गया है। ये अवॉर्ड केंद्र सरकार के हाउसिंग और अर्बन अफेयर्स मंत्रालय की ओर से दिया गया है। आज लखनऊ में आयोजित 12 वें अर्बन मोबिलिटी इंडिया कॉन्फ्रेंस और एक्जिबिशन में ये अवॉर्ड दिया गया।
अवॉर्ड के आधिकारिक ऐलान के मुताबिक ‘अवॉर्ड सिलेक्शन कमिटी की सिफारिश के आधार पर, मंत्रालय ने कमेंडेबल इनिशिएटिव अवॉर्ड दिल्ली सरकार के बस और मेट्रो यात्रा के लिए लॉन्च किए गए कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड को देने का फैसला किया है। यह अवॉर्ड बेस्ट इंटेलिजेंट ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम प्रोजेक्ट केटैगरी में दिया जा रहा है।’ अवॉर्ड दिल्ली इंट्रीग्रेटेड मल्टीमॉडल ट्रांजिट सिस्टम्स (डीआईएमटीएस) लिमिटेड को दिया गया जिसने दिल्ली सरकार के लिए कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड प्रोजेक्ट पर काम किया।
दिल्ली सरकार ने पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम को बेहतर बनाने के लिए अगस्त 2018 में कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड – ‘वन’ लॉन्च किया। इसकी टैग लाइन थी – वन दिल्ली वन राइड। इसके साथ ही दिल्ली देश का पहला शहर बन गया जहां एक कॉमन मोबिलिटी कार्ड के जरिए लोग हर तरह के पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट में सफर कर सकते हैं। दिल्ली सरकार का ट्रांसपोर्ट विभाग ऑटो, ई रिक्शा और टैक्सी में भी इस कार्ड के इस्तेमाल की योजना पर काम कर रहा है।
दिल्ली सरकार के ट्रांसपोर्ट मिनिस्टर कैलाश गहलोत ने कहा कि यह अवॉर्ड दिल्ली के पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम में लोगों को आसान और बेहतर सफर का अनुभव देने के लिए, दिल्ली सरकार के प्रयासों को मिला सम्मान है। हम दिल्ली के पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट सिस्टम को इसी तरह आगे भी तकनीक का इस्तेमाल कर और बेहतर बनाने की कोशिश करते रहेंगे।
दिल्ली के लोग वन कार्ड को सिर्फ मेट्रो में ही नहीं बल्कि इलैक्ट्रॉनिक टिकटिंग मशीन को जरिए बसों में भी 10 प्रतिशत की छूट के साथ इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। कार्ड लॉन्च के तीन महीने के भीतर ही इसका इस्तेमाल 9 लाख फेरों के लिए किया गया।
वन कार्ड की सफलता को देखते हुए दिल्ली सरकार के ट्रांसपोर्ट विभाग ने मार्च 2019 में वन दिल्ली ऐप भी लॉन्च किया। इस ऐप में सफर को प्लान करने के लिए नेविगेशन फीचर के साथ जर्नी प्लानर, क्लस्टर बसों के आने का अनुमानित वक्त, बस और मेट्रो के रास्ते की जानकारी भी दी गई है। साथ ही ऐप के जरिए नजदीकी बस स्टॉप की जानकारी भी ली जा सकती है।
Delhi Government’s Common Mobility Card wins Union Government’s Award for Best Intelligent Transport System project

New Delhi, 16 November 2019: Delhi Government’s Common Mobility Card ‘ONE’ has received an Award under the ‘Best Intelligent Transport System Project’ category by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government for India. The Award was presented at Lucknow today during the 12th Urban Mobility India Conference and Exhibition.
The official announcement says “As per the recommendations of the Awards selection committee, the ministry has decided to confer ‘Commendable Initiative Award’ for your project on ‘Launch of Common Mobility Card in Delhi across Buses and Metro’ under the category of Best Intelligent Transport System Project”. The Award was given to DIMTS (Delhi Integrated Multi-modal Transit Systems) Ltd, a Delhi government joint venture, which led the project integration work for Common Mobility Card.
In August 2018, the Delhi Government, under its larger objective of transforming the public transport exeprience in the capital, launched the Common Mobility Card as ‘ONE’, with the tagline ‘One Delhi, One Ride’. With this, Delhi became the first city in India to have launched a Common Mobility Card which can be used across all forms of public transport. The Transport department, Delhi Government is planning to make the card usable in auto/e-rickshaws/taxi journeys too.
“The award is a deserving recognition for Delhi Government’s efforts to provide the people of Delhi a seamless, high-quality travel experience in Delhi’s public transport system. We’ll continue to transform the Public Transport System in Delhi with such innovative and technology driven initiatives”, said Shri Kailash Gahlot, Transport Minister of Delhi.
Delhi’s public transport commuters currently use the ONE card not just in Metro, but also in buses through Electronic Ticketing Machines (ETM), at a 10 per cent discount. Within the first three months of its launch, the ONE card, was used to pay for about 9 lakh trips.
Building on the launch of the ONE card and its objective to provide seamless public transport experience, in March 2019, the Delhi government also launched Delhi’s first Common Mobility app – ONE DELHI App, developed by Transport Department. The One Delhi App contains: Multi-Modal Journey Planner with Navigation feature, Real-time Expected Time of Arrival (ETA) of all Cluster Buses, Route visualizer for all Metro and bus routes on map and Auto detection of nearest bus stops.
