पार्टी मुख्यालय में एक प्रेस वार्ता के दौरान दिल्ली प्रदेश संयोजक एवं कैबिनेट मंत्री गोपाल राय तथा आप राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह ने दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के अधीन आने वाले साउथ कैंपस से जुड़े विभिन्न कॉलेजों के नव नियुक्त और निवर्समान पदाधिकारियों एवं छात्र नेताओं को आम आदमी पार्टी छात्र संगठन सीवाईएसएस की टोपी पहना कर पार्टी संगठन में शामिल किया।
प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए गोपाल राय ने बताया कि दिल्ली में केजरीवाल सरकार द्वारा छात्रों और युवाओं के बेहतर भविष्य की दिशा में उठाए गए कदम और जनहित में किए गए कार्यों से प्रभावित होकर इन सभी छात्रों ने आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल होने का निर्णय लिया। उन्होंने बताया कि यह सभी लोग आम आदमी पार्टी के छात्र संगठन सीवाईएसएस की विचारधारा को सभी कॉलेजों तक लेकर जाएंगे और पार्टी संगठन को कॉलेजों में मजबूत करने की दिशा में काम करेंगे।
गोपाल राय ने बताया कि मुख्य रूप से साउथ कैंपस में हैप्पी क्लब के नाम से चल रहा छात्रों का एक संगठन जो कि कैंपस के छात्रों के हित में लगातार कई सालों से संघर्ष करते आ रहे हैं और साउथ कैंपस के कॉलेज पैनलों में लगातार चुनाव लड़ते और जीतते आ रहे हैं, हैप्पी क्लब के सभी छात्र सदस्य एवं पदाधिकारी हैप्पी क्लब के संचालक विनय उदारा जी के नेतृत्व में आज आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हो रहे हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी इन सभी छात्रों का आम आदमी परिवार में दिल से स्वागत करती है और इन सभी को आश्वासन देती है कि छात्रों के बेहतर भविष्य के लिए हर प्रकार के संघर्ष में पार्टी उनके साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़ी है।

Several South Campus college union leaders join AAP

New Delhi: Prominent students leaders and people associated with various student organisations of Delhi University’s South Campus colleges joined Aam Aadmi Party’s students organisation CYSS in the presence AAP Delhi Convenor and Cabinet Minister Mr Gopal Rai and MP Mr Sanjay Singh at the party headquarters on Saturday. The leaders welcomed these young students of DU by offering them the CYSS cap.
Addressing the press conference, Mr Gopal Rai said, “All these students have decided to join AAP because of various initiatives being taken by the Hon’ble Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his government in Delhi towards better future of students, youth and for public welfare. All these students will lead the pathway of the ideology of AAP’s student organisation to their colleges and work towards strengthening the roots of the organization in their respective colleges.”
Mr Rai also said that an organisation of students, Happy Club, which has been fighting for the students’ body elections since years in Delhi University South Campus and will join the party.
“All the students and people attached to the Happy Club will join AAP under the leadership of Mr Vinay Udara, the Director of the club. The AAP welcomes all these students and assures them that the party will stand by them in all their struggles for a better future for the students.”
