आँड ईवन पूरी तरह सफल, जनता को बधाई – मनीष सिसोदिया
- दिल्ली में प्रदूषण कल के मुकाबले बेहद कम, आँड ईवन भी प्रदूषण कम करने में एक वजह
- पूरे दिन में दिल्ली में 192 लोगों के ही चालान हुए, 15 लाख में यह संख्या मामूली है

आँड ईवन का दिल्ली की जनता ने जमकर समर्थन किया। लोगों के सहयोग की वजह से ही यह सफल हुआ है। दिल्ली का प्रदूषण कल के मुकाबले बेहद कम हुआ है। इसमें आँड ईवन का भी योगदान है। दिल्ली के लोगों के सहयोग के कारण ही पहले दिन सिर्फ 192 चालान हुए। यह कहना है उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया का। वह सचिवालय में मीडिया को संबोधित कर रहे थें।
मैंने खुद सड़कों पर देखा, आँड ईवन का एका-दुक्का ही उल्लंघन हुआ – मनीष सिसोदिया
उप मुख्यमंत्री मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा कि मैं दिल्ली की जनता को बधाई देता हूं। पूरे उत्तर भारत में इस समय धुंध की गहरी चादर छाई है, गहरा प्रदूषण था। दम घुट रहा था। लोगों ने आँड ईवन के तौर पर सख्ती कर प्रदूषण का जवाब दिया है। इसके लिए लोगों को बधाई। 1 जनवरी 2016 व उसके बाद दूसरे आँड ईवन में भी लोगों ने पूरा सहयोग किया। आज तीसरा आँड ईवन था। जिस तरह से आँड ईवन का पालन हुआ है, उसके लिए जनता को बधाई। मैं एक प्रोग्राम में गया था। जिज्ञासावश मैंने देखा की क्या स्थिति है। मैंने देखा कि एक गाड़ी खड़ी थी, जिसमें कोई चालक नहीं था। हो सकता है महिला चालक हो। दूसरी गाड़ी और दिखी, जिसमें चालक नहीं दिखा। तो एक दो गाड़ियां ही दिखी। आज अधिकारियों को निर्देश था कि पहला दिन है, रूख सकारात्मक रखने का निर्देश था। पूरे दिन में आज 192 चालान कटे। यातायात पुलिस की तरफ से 170, परिवहन विभाग की तरफ से 15, एसडीएम व अन्य ने 7 चालान काटे हैं।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पहल का स्वागत, चार – पांच राज्य मिलकर ही प्रदूषण से निपटने का रास्ता निकाल सकते हैं- मनीष सिसोदिया
मनीष सिसोदिया ने कहा 30 लाख गाड़ियां चलती हैं। 15 लाख बाहर हैं। 100 – 200 चालान कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है। इतना कोई बड़ी बात नहीं है । प्रदूषण पर इसका भी एक असर है। हालांकि प्रदूषण बढ़ने और घटने के कई कारण है , लेकिन आज हवा सुधरी है। कल से बहुत बेहतर हुई है । कल 1000 – 1200 , 1600 तक एक्यूआई थी। 800 एवरेज था। आज सुबह एक्यूआई 6 बजे 562 ,दोपहर 2 बजे 152 और शाम 4बजे 93 है। आज काफी फर्क पड़ा है। दिल्ली के लोगों ने जज्बा दिखाया, जिससे प्रदूषण पर असर पड़ा है । लोगों को बधाई। यह एकता दिल्ली के इतिहास में दर्ज हो गई। लोगों ने दिखा दिया कि हर समस्या में साथ है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेश का पालन दिल्ली सरकार करेगी, हमसे जो आंकड़ा मांगा है वह देंगे। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बाकि राज्यों के मुख्य सचिव को जैसे तलब किया है, वह बेहतर है। हम चार पांच राज्य मिलकर रास्ता निकालेगे तो ज्यादा बेहतर होगा। हम शुक्रगुजार हैं कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट की वजह से उस दिशा में कदम बढ़ रहा है। यूपी में भी आँड ईवन होगा तो अच्छी बात है। यह पूरे उत्तर भारत की समस्या है। सभी मिलकर काम करेंगे तो बेहतर परिणाम आएगा।

Delhi Govt Congratulates the People of Delhi for high level of Odd Even Compliance on the First Day.
- “The first day of the third series of the Odd Even Scheme was very successful. People responded with high level of Compliance”, said Shri Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi.
- As per the latest reports, only 192 Challans were issued for violations so far.
- Comparing to the previous days, Delhi’s Air quality improved significantly. Odd-Even scheme also factored.
- PM2.5 level dipped to 93 at 04:00 pm today.
- “Citizens of Delhi proved that people’s determination can solve the manifold issues in the city. This shows the unity of the people of Delhi.” said the Deputy Chief Minister.
- Shri Sisodia also welcomed the move by the Supreme Court to take stringent measures. Delhi government thanked and congratulated the people of Delhi for the high level response to the third series of Odd Even scheme launched today, in its various efforts to curb pollution in the city.
Shri Manish Sisodia, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi said “Today I want to congratulate the people of Delhi, as they have taken a difficult but decisive step to curb pollution, while the entire North India was suffering from severe Air Pollution caused by stubble burning. The positive results show that if people want, everything is possible. The first day of the third series of the Odd Even scheme implemented in the city was very successful. I thank every citizen of Delhi for owning up this initiative and made high level of compliance” in Press Conference addressed along with Mr. Kailsh Gahlot, Transport Minister of Delhi held at the Delhi Secretariat.
“In the previous two occasions also, the people of Delhi made a powerful response to this effort to combat Air Pollution. Today again, people began to participate rigorously in this decisive fight against pollution. Their efforts prove that we together want to fight pollution and we can do it” the Deputy Chief Minister added.
“Today I went for an event 15-20 kilometers away. On my way to and fro, I was observing the compliance of people to the Odd Even Scheme. I could see only two vehicles with odd number plate, one parked near the metro station and another on the other side of the road probably driven by women. It means there is a high level of compliance” said Shri Sisodia.
“Since it was the first day, directions were given to the officials to be little lenient, try to make people understand and persuade them to comply with. I interacted with many officials and traffic policemen and they testified that the response was very positive. As per the latest reports, only 192 challans were issued for violations so far. Traffic police issued 170 Challans, Transport and Enforcement departments 15 and SDMs on road 7.”Shri Sisodia detailed.
“Every day in Delhi, there are 30 Lakh vehicles – private cars on road and of which nearly half – 15 Lakh vehicles are on road today. 100 or 200 violations amongst 15 lakh vehicles in such a big city are not a big deal. We can say that people of Delhi responded to this initiative with 100% compliance. This is a big achievement” the Deputy Chief Minister said.
“Comparing to the previous days, Delhi’s Air quality improved significantly today. We know that there are many factors determining the increase and decrease in pollution. Undoubtedly, Odd Even scheme also is a factor for this improvement” the Deputy Chief Minister added.
“Yesterday, the air quality index was measured up to between 1200 and 1600 as per data from government and other sources. Though indices differed, average was 800. In the morning today, the PM 2.5 levels was 562; and in the afternoon at 02:00 pm it was 152. As per the latest reports it is 93. It is a major sign of controlling the pollution. I am not saying that it is only due to Odd-Even scheme as there are many factors, but undoubtedly this initiative also contributed immensely to curb pollution in Delhi. But more than the scheme, it is the contribution of the strong will of the people in Delhi. They proved that people’s determination can solve the manifold issues in the city. This shows the unity of the people of Delhi” said Shri Sisodia.
While addressing the media Deputy Chief Minister welcomed the move by the Supreme Court to take stringent measures in this regard and calling the Chief Secretaries of the respective states. Also he hoped that coordinated efforts by the nearby states shall yield better results in the efforts to curb pollution. He expressed that any initiative with public participation will definitely be successful and Odd Even scheme is a unique example for this.
