आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता दुर्गेश पाठक की अगुवाई में आज पार्टी के तमाम निगम पार्षदों ने सिविक सेंटर के बाहर धरना दे रहे नगर निगम कर्मचारियों के समर्थन में धरना-प्रदर्शन किया। इन कर्मचारियों को पिछले करीब 6 महीने से वेतन नहीं मिला है। इस दौरान दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि भाजपा वालों, निगम कर्मचारियों का वेतन दो, नही ंतो इस्तीफा दो। भाजपा से नगर निगम संभाला नहीं जा रहा है, तो छोड़ दे, हम इसी व्यवस्था और इतने ही बजट में नगर निगम चला कर दिखाएंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि निगम के कर्मचारियों को घर का खर्च चलाना मुश्किल हो गया है और भाजपा के नेता केवल भ्रष्टाचार करने में व्यस्त हैं। सिविक सेंटर के बाहर प्रदर्शन करने के दौरान आम आदमी पार्टी के सभी निगम पार्षदों और नेता दुर्गेश पाठक को भाजपा शासित दिल्ली पुलिस ने हिरासत में ले लिया।

मीडिया से बातचीत करते हुए आप नेता दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा कि हमारी केवल और केवल एक ही मांग है, भारतीय जनता पार्टी वालों या तो निगम के समस्त कर्मचारियों का वेतन दो, नहीं तो इस्तीफा दो। उन्होंने कहा कि हम भाजपा से कहना चाहते हैं कि यदि आप से नगर निगम नहीं संभाला जा रहा है, तो आप नगर निगम छोड़ दो, हम इसी व्यवस्था के साथ और इतने ही बजट में नगर निगम चला कर दिखाएंगे। लगभग 6 महीने हो गए हैं, निगम के कर्मचारियों को वेतन नहीं मिल रहा है। समस्त कर्मचारी सिविक सेंटर के बाहर धरना प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं, कर्मचारियों के परिवारों की स्थिति बेहद गंभीर है, घर का खर्च चलाना मुश्किल हो गया है, और भाजपा के समस्त नेता केवल और केवल भ्रष्टाचार करने में व्यस्त हैं। आज आम आदमी पार्टी के समस्त निगम पार्षद यहां धरने पर बैठे हैं और हमारी भाजपा से यही मांग है कि या तो आप कर्मचारियों की तनख्वाह दो, नहीं तो इस्तीफा दो।
भाजपा आम आदमी की आवाज को दबाने की कोशिश कर रही- दुर्गेश पाठक
आम आदमी पार्टी का मानना है कि यह बेहद ही दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण है कि एक लोकतांत्रिक देश में जहां सरकार की गलत नीतियों के खिलाफ, सरकार की निर्ममता के खिलाफ आवाज उठाना एक आम नागरिक का संवैधानिक अधिकार है, वहां भाजपा दिल्ली पुलिस के माध्यम से आम आदमी की आवाज को दबाने की कोशिश कर रही है। सिविक सेंटर के बाहर प्रदर्शन करते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के समस्त निगम पार्षदों और नेता दुर्गेश पाठक को भाजपा शासित दिल्ली पुलिस ने बड़ी निर्ममता के साथ खदेड़ा और सभी लोगों को हिरासत में ले लिया। आम आदमी पार्टी के समस्त निगम पार्षदों का केवल इतना ही जुर्म था कि वह निगम के समस्त कर्मचारी जो कि भाजपा के अधीन कार्यरत हैं, जहां निगम में भाजपा की सरकार है, उनसे अपने पिछले 6 महीने का वेतन मांग रहे थे, आम आदमी पार्टी के समस्त निगम पार्षद उन कर्मचारियों की मांग को बुलंद करने के लिए उनकी आवाज में आवाज मिलाकर विरोध प्रदर्शन कर रहे थे।
ऐसा लग रहा, जैसे देश में लोकतांत्रिक नहीं, बल्कि एक तानाशाह सरकार चल रही- दुर्गेश पाठक
जिस प्रकार से आज इस देश में एक आम आदमी की आवाज को दबाने की कोशिश की जा रही है और उसके संवैधानिक अधिकारों को छीनने का काम किया जा रहा है, उससे ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि जैसे इस देश में लोकतांत्रिक नहीं, बल्कि एक तानाशाह सरकार चल रही है। हम भारतीय जनता पार्टी को यह बता देना चाहते हैं कि इस प्रकार के हथकंडो से, इस प्रकार की तानाशाही से आप हमारी आवाज को नहीं दबा सकोगे। आम आदमी पार्टी आंदोलन से निकली हुई एक पार्टी है, जो शुरू से गरीब और पिछड़े वर्ग के लोगों के हक की आवाज उठाती रही है और आगे भी इसी प्रकार से गरीबों के हक के लिए आवाज उठाती रहेगी। जब तक भाजपा शासित नगर निगम निगम के समस्त कर्मचारी, जिनका वेतन पिछले लगभग 6 महीनों से नहीं दिया गया है, उनको नहीं दे देती, तब तक आम आदमी पार्टी इस तरह के विरोध प्रदर्शन करती रहेगी और आम आदमी का हक दिलाने के लिए अपनी आवाज बुलंद करती रहेगी।

All Aam Aadmi Party’s councillors, led by Aam Aadmi Party’s senior leader and the party’s MCD in-charge Durgesh Pathak, today staged a protest in support of MCD employees who were staging a protest outside the Civic Centre. Employees of the MCDs have not received salaries for nearly six months. A protest was staged for the demand for paying salaries to all the employees at the earliest. Shri Pathak also said that, if the BJP cannot run the MCD, it should hand it over to the AAP. AAP will run the MCD better in the same budget.
We demand from BJP, either release the salaries of your employees or resign immediately: Durgesh Pathak
Talking to the media, AAP’s senior leader Shri Durgesh Pathak said, “I want to say to the BJP, release the salaries of the MCD workers within the next one week. If you cannot run the MCD, then please resign and hand it over to AAP. BJP should stop misleading people, release the salaries of MCD workers immediately or resign. AAP will run it better in the same budget. It has been about six months that the employees of the corporation are not getting their salaries. All the employees are staging a protest outside the civic centre, the condition of the families of the employees is very serious, it has become difficult to run their houses, and all the BJP leaders are only and only busy in corruption. Today, the councilors of the Aam Aadmi Party are sitting here on protest and our demand from the BJP is that either you pay the employees and resign.”
BJP-led Modi government is trying to suppress the voice of the common man: Durgesh Pathak
Aam Aadmi Party believes that it is very unfortunate that in a democratic country where it is the constitutional right of a common citizen to raise their voice against the wrong policies of the government, against the government’s inconsideration, the BJP-ruled Modi government is trying to suppress the voice of the common man. While staging a protest outside the Civic Centre, all Aam Aadmi Party’s corporate councillors and leader Durgesh Pathak were brutally pulled by the BJP-ruled Delhi police, and all the people were taken into custody. He said that the only crime of all the AAP councillors was that they were defending the rights of all the employees of the BJP-led MCD who were demanding their last six month’s salaries.

We want to tell the BJP that with these kinds of tactics and with this kind of dictatorship, you will not be able to suppress our voice. Aam Aadmi Party has been formed out of a movement and has been raising voice for the right of the poor and backward classes from the beginning, and it will continue to do so. Unless all the employees of the BJP-ruled MCDs, whose salaries have not been paid for the last about six months are released, the Aam Aadmi Party will continue to protest and raise its voice to bring justice to the common man.”
