आम आदमी पार्टी मुख्यालय में आज दिल्ली कांग्रेस के लगभग 100 से भी अधिक नेता एवं कार्यकर्ता अपनी पार्टी छोड़ आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हुए। राज्यसभा सांसद संजय सिंह, आप नेता दिलीप पांडे और दुर्गेश पाठक की मौजूदगी में सभी लोगों ने पार्टी की सदस्यता ग्रहण की। संजय सिंह ने सभी गणमान्य लोगों को पार्टी की टोपी एवं पटका पहनाकर पार्टी में स्वागत किया।
पार्टी में शामिल होने वाले लोगों में मुख्य रूप से श्री बृजमोहन जी (डेलीगेट, दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस; जिलाध्यक्ष, कांग्रेस एससीएसटी प्रकोष्ठ, करावल नगर) अधीर कुमार पांडे (जिला सचिव, करावल नगर कांग्रेस कमिटी), सतेंद्र जी ( जिला सचिव, करावल नगर कांग्रेस कमिटी), अरुण कुमार ( यूथ अध्यक्ष, तिमारपुर, कांग्रेस), सोनू जी ( अध्यक्ष, एससीएसटी प्रकोष्ठ, तिमारपुर विधानसभा, कांग्रेस), अंजली चौहान (पूर्व निगम प्रत्याशी, तिमारपुर वार्ड, पेंथर पार्टी), भगवती प्रसाद (अध्यक्ष, एससीएसटी प्रकोष्ठ, मुस्तफाबाद, कांग्रेस), सुरेंद्र चौधरी ( महासचिव, यूथ कांग्रेस, तिमारपुर, दिल्ली), पंकज कुमार पाल (वार्ड अध्यक्ष, यूथ कांग्रेस, तिमारपुर), अनुराग ( सचिव, यूथ ब्लॉक काँग्रेस कमिटी, तिमारपुर), राकेश प्रधान (पूर्व डेलीगेट, ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष, कांग्रेस, करावल नगर), सुशील राय (कांग्रेस कमिटी सदस्य, करावल नगर), अमृत लाल सैनी (पूर्व ब्लॉक अध्यक्ष, कांग्रेस कमिटी, करावल नगर), त्रिभुवन यादव (सदस्य, कांग्रेस कमिटी करावल नगर; अध्यक्ष अवध मिथिला धर्मशाला), प्रवीण प्रधान (सदस्य, कांग्रेस कमिटी, करावल नगर) शामिल हुए। इन सभी नेताओं के साथ साथ सैकड़ों की संख्या में इनके समर्थक भी आम आदमी पार्टी में शामिल हुए।
पार्टी में शामिल नए सदस्यों वे कहा की दिल्ली में अरविन्द केजरीवाल सरकार द्वारा किए जा रहे ऐतिहासिक विकास कार्यों और आम आदमी पार्टी की नीतियों से प्रभावित हो कर वो आम आदमी पार्टी से जुड़े हैं।
श्री संजय सिंह ने सभी प्रतिष्ठित लोगों को आम आदमी पार्टी कि टोपी पहना कर स्वागत करते हुए कहा कि इन सभी लोगों का हम आम आदमी पार्टी में दिल से स्वागत करते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आज केजरीवाल सरकार साफ नियत से जो विकास के कार्य कर रही है उससे प्रभावित होकर सभी दलों के लोग भारी मात्रा में आम आदमी पार्टी से जुड़ रहे हैं। संजय सिंह ने कहा के इन सभी लोगों के जुड़ने से पार्टी को दिल्ली में मजबूती मिलेगी, पार्टी संगठन और मजबूत होगा।
कार्यक्रम में संबोधन करते हुए आप नेता दिलीप पांडे ने कहा कि हम सभी प्रतिष्ठित लोगों का पार्टी में आने पर दिल से स्वागत करते हैं। इन सभी लोगों के जुड़ने से दिल्ली में पार्टी को मजबूती मिलेगी। पिछली बार दिल्ली की जनता ने दिल्ली में पार्टी को 67 सीटें जिता कर दी थीं, इस बार हमें उम्मीद है कि भाजपा दिल्ली में 3 विधायकों वाली पार्टी भी नहीं बचेगी। इस बार कांग्रेस के साथ-साथ भाजपा की भी दिल्ली में 0 सीट आएंगी।
कार्यक्रम में अपने कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ पार्टी में शामिल हुए दिल्ली प्रदेश कांग्रेस के डेलीगेट और कांग्रेस एससीएसटी प्रकोष्ठ के जिलाध्यक्ष बृजमोहन जी कहा कि श्री अरविन्द केजरीवाल के नेतृत्व में दिल्ली सरकार ने आम जनता के लिए शिक्षा और स्वास्थय के क्षेत्र में काफी विकास कार्य किये हैं। खास तौर पर दलित समुदाय के लिए उच्च शिक्षा के लिए जय भीम मुख्यमंत्री प्रतिभा विकास योजना लाना और सीवर सफाई के लिए मुफ्त में मशीन मुहैय्या कराना काफी सराहनीय है। पिछले पांच में आम आदमी पार्टी दिल्ली की राजनीति और जन नीतियों में काफी सकरात्मक बदलाव लेकर आयी है। उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि आम आदमी पार्टी से जुड़ कर वे भी दिल्ली की जनता की बेहतर ढंग से सेवा कर सकेंगे।

Many prominent political leaders of Delhi Congress party joined the Aam Aadmi Party today. All the leaders took membership of the party in the presence of Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi election in-charge and Rajya Sabha member Mr Sanjay Singh and senior leader Mr Dilip Pandey. For the last several weeks, various prominent leaders from other political parties are joining AAP.
Prominent leaders who have joined the Aam Aadmi Party are: Mr. Brijmohan (District President of SC/ST Cell and Party Delegate of Delhi Pradesh Congress), Mr Adhir Kumar Pandey (Karawal Nagar District Secretary, Congress), Mr Satendra (Secretary, Karawal Nagar Congress Committee), Mr Anoop Kumar (Youth President, Timarpur, Congress), Mr Sonu (President of SC/ST Cell of Timarpur, Congress), Mrs Anjali Chauhan (Former Corporation candidate, from Timarpur ward,Panther Party), Mr Bhagwati Prasad (President of SC/ST Cell, Mustafabad, Congress), Mr Surendra Chaudhary (General Secretary, Youth Congress, Timarpur), Mr Pankaj Kumar Pal (Ward President, Youth Congress, Timarpur), Mr Anurag (Secretary, Youth Block Congress Committee, Timarpur), Mr Rakesh Pradhan (Former Delegate, Block President of Congress, Karawal Nagar), Mr Sushil Rai (Congress Committee Member, Karawal Nagar), Mr Amrit Lal Saini ( Congress Committee, Karawal Nagar), Mr Tribhuvan Yadav (Congress committee, Karawal Nagar), Mr Praveen Pradhan (Congress committee, Karawal Nagar).
The leaders who joined the party said that they have been influenced by the historic work done by Arvind Kejriwal and the policies of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Mr Sanjay Singh welcomed all the eminent people offering them party caps and said, “We warmly welcome all these people to the Aam Aadmi Party. People from the other parties are joining the Aam Aadmi Party in large numbers after getting influenced by the development work that the Arvind Kejriwal government is doing in Delhi. The joining of these leaders will strengthen the party.”
Senior Leader Mr Dilip Pandey said, “Joining of all these people will strengthen the party in Delhi. Last time the AAP won 67 seats in Delhi, and BJP got 3 but this time we hope that BJP will get zero seats.”
Mr Brijmohan who was District President of SC/ST Cell and Party Delegate of Delhi Pradesh Congress said, “The AAP under the leadership of CM Mr Arvind Kejriwal has done enormous work for the development of the people of Delhi in education, health and especially for the Dalit community by launching schemes such as Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Pratibha Vikas Yojna for higher education, distribution of free sewer cleaning machines etc. In the last five years, there has been a significant change in the politics and policies of Delhi by the AAP. I believe that I would be able to serve the people of Delhi by joining the AAP.”
