आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं विधायक दिलीप पांडेय ने कहा कि एमसीडी में भाजपा के भ्रष्टाचार के कारण दिल्ली की जनता बारिश में सड़क पर परेशान होती है। उन्होंने कहा कि दिल्ली को साफ-सुथरा करने की जिम्मेदारी एमसीडी की है, लेकिन सफाई का बजट भाजपा नेताओं की जेब गर्म करने में चला जाता है। आने वाले निगम चुनाव में इस बार दिल्ली की जनता भाजपा नाम के कचरे को झाड़ू मारकर साफ कर देगी।
पार्टी मुख्यालय में आयोजित एक प्रेस वार्ता को संबोधित करते हुए आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता एवं विधायक दिलीप पांडे ने कहा यदि भाजपा शासित नगर निगम के भ्रष्टाचार को खुली आंखों से देखना है, तो आप इस समय भाजपा शासित नगर निगम के निकम्मेपन के कारण सड़कों पर नाले के जरिए बहता हुआ देख सकते हैं।
उन्होंने बताया कि डीएमसी एक्ट-1957, सेक्शन 32 कहता है कि पूरी दिल्ली को साफ सुथरा रखने की जिम्मेदारी दिल्ली नगर निगम की है। मैं पूछना चाहता हूं कि क्या किसी दिल्ली वाले ने निगम के किसी कर्मचारी को अपने क्षेत्र की नाली से गाद निकालते हुए, कीचड़ निकालते हुए, उसकी सफाई करते हुए देखा है, इसका जवाब ना में ही मिलेगा। ऐसा भी नहीं है की साफ सफाई की जो प्रक्रिया है, वह मात्र काल्पनिक हो या उसके लिए बजट एलोकेट ना होता हो। साफ सफाई की प्रक्रिया भी होती है और उसके लिए बजट एलोकेट भी किया जाता है। परंतु यह सारा का सारा बजट का पैसा भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेताओं की जेब गर्म करने में चला जाता है।
दिलीप पांडे ने बताया कि दिल्ली की लगभग 98 प्रतिशत सड़कों से जुड़ी नालियों की सफाई करने की जिम्मेदारी भाजपा शासित नगर निगम की है। इन 98 प्रतिशत सड़कों से जुड़ी नालियों के लिए जो बजट एलोकेट होता है, उसका सारा पैसा भारतीय जनता पार्टी के नेता खा जाते हैं और दिल्ली की जनता को बारिश के मौसम में सड़क पर परेशान होने के लिए छोड़ देते हैं। मैं आम आदमी पार्टी की ओर से यह संदेश देना चाहता हूं कि दिल्ली की जनता ने भाजपा के निकम्मेपन को बहुत बर्दाश्त कर लिया है। भाजपा शासित नगर निगम के पास मात्र एक ही जिम्मेदारी है, दिल्ली की साफ सफाई करने की और वह काम भी ना करके भाजपा शासित नगर निगम ने अपने निकम्मेपन और नकारेपन को सत्यापित कर दिया है।
दिलीप पांडे ने कहा कि आने वाले निगम के चुनावों में इस बार दिल्ली की जनता मोस्ट करप्ट डिपार्टमेंट बन चुकी दिल्ली नगर निगम में से भारतीय जनता पार्टी नाम के कचरे को झाड़ू मार कर साफ कर देगी।

Aam Aadmi Party senior leader and MLA Mr Dilip Pandey on Thursday slammed the BJP ruled MCDs for not cleaning the drains which has led to huge waterlogging in the national capital. He said that the BJP ruled MCDs of Delhi have utilised the money meant for cleaning of drains for corruption. He also said that the Delhi Municipal Corporation (DMC) act 1957 section 32 clearly states that the cleaning of any drain in Delhi is the responsibility of BJP ruled MCDs. Mr Pandey said that the reality of Delhi is that 98% drains here come under BJP ruled MCDs and only 2% of the drains is under the Delhi government, therefore, the responsibility of cleaning of the drains lies with BJP ruled MCDs. He said that in the upcoming election people will finish the BJP’s power in the MCDs.

Mr Pandey said, “We all know how corrupt the municipal corporations of Delhi under the Bharatiya Janata party are. If you want to find out the work done by the BJP led MCDs then you should look into the flooded drains of Delhi. It is very clear that the BJP-led MCDs have not cleaned a single drain. The DMC act 1957 section 32 clearly states that the cleaning of any drain in Delhi is the responsibility of BJP ruled MCDs. Have you ever seen the normal drains or stormwater drains being cleaned in your colonies? Have you noticed that Garbage is removed? It is not being done.”
There is a separate budget allocation for desilting of drains at every BJP ruled MCD but they use this money in corruption: Dilip Pandey
“It is not that there is no allocation for the desilting of drains or the system of desilting does not exist in Delhi. There is also a separate budget for this work but the BJP uses this money for their corruption and does not clean the drains,” he said.

The reality of Delhi is that 98% drains here come under BJP ruled MCDs. Nearly 2% of drains is under the Delhi government. Recently also waterlogging took place and even one person succumbed to death due to waterlogging. In Delhi, the main responsibility of cleaning the drains is under the BJP ruled MCDs but unfortunately, they always use the entire money for the corruption and do not perform any work,” he said.

“On behalf of the AAP, I want to say that in the upcoming election the people of Delhi will defeat the BJP at the MCDs which have become the most corrupt department,” said Mr Pandey.
