शहीद भगत सिंह कॉलोनी, करावल नगर में गलियों और नालियों केे निर्माण कार्य का उद्घाटन

नई दिल्ली। पीडब्ल्यूडी मिनिस्टर सत्येंद्र जैन ने सोमवार को करावल नगर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में 90गलियों और 180 नालियों के निर्माण कार्य का उद्घाटन किया। उद्घाटन में आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता दुर्गेश पाठक और अन्य पदाधिकारी भी शामिल हुए।
करावल नगर के शहीद भगत सिंह कॉलोनी में गलियों और नालियों के निर्माण कार्य का उद्घाटन कॉलोनी के निवासियों के बीच हुआ। इस प्रोजेक्ट के तहत शहीद भगत सिंह कॉलोनी में 90 गलियों और 180 नालियों को बनाने का काम किया जाएगा। इससे पूरी कॉलोनी का कायाकल्प हो जाएगा।
इन गलियों एवं नालियों के निर्माण से तकरीबन12,000 लोगों को फायदा होगा। गलियां और नालियां बनाने का काम शुरू हो गया है। सभी गलियों और नालियों का निर्माण कार्य दिसंबर 2019 तक पूरा कर लिया जाएगा।
उद्घाटन समारोह के बाद पीडब्ल्यूडी मिनिस्टर सत्येंद्र जैन और आम आदमी पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता दुर्गेश पाठक ने क्षेत्र में पदयात्रा भी निकाली। उन्होंने स्थानीय लोगों से बातचीत करके उनकी समस्याओं को सुना। साथ ही लोगों को स्थानीय स्तर पर हो रहे विकास कार्यों के बारे में विस्तार से बताया।
केजरीवाल सरकार दिल्ली की कच्ची कॉलोनियों की दशा सुधारना चाहती है, इसीलिए ऐसी कॉलोनियों में व्यापक पैमाने पर गलियों और नालियों का निर्माण कार्य कराया जा रहा है। पिछली सरकारों ने इस कॉलोनियों की दशा सुधारने की तरफ बिलकुल भी ध्यान नहीं दिया।
उद्घाटन के बाद दुर्गेश पाठक ने कहा, “केजरीवाल सरकार दिल्ली के लोगों को बुनियादी सुविधाएं प्रदान करने के मामले में कोई कसर नहीं छोड़ रही है। दिल्ली की विभिन्न कॉलोनियों में रहने वाली एक बहुत बड़ी आबादी की पिछली सरकारों ने उपेक्षा की है। आम आदमी पार्टी के सत्ता में आने के बाद से ही मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल दिल्ली की सभी कॉलोनियों में बुनियादी सुविधाओं के काम करवा रहे हैं। आम आदमी पार्टी का मानना है कि दिल्ली में रहने वाली हर नागरिक को सुविधापूर्ण और गरिमापूर्ण जीवन मिलना चाहिए।“
दुर्गेश पाठक ने स्थानीय लोगों को ये भी आश्वासन दिया कि सभी विकास कार्यों की कड़ी निगरानी की जाएगी जिससे बेहतर गुणवत्ता के साथ-साथ ये काम समय पर पूरे हो सकें। इसके अलावा अगर आप लोगों की विकास कार्यों में किसी गड़बड़ी की जानकारी मिलती है तो मुझे सूचित करें। मैं उसे दुरुस्त कराऊंगा।

New Delhi: PWD Minister Sh. Satyendar Jain, on Monday, inaugurated the work of construction of 90-lanes and 180-drains in Karawal Nagar assembly constituency. The inauguration was also attended by senior AAP leader Sh. Durgesh Pathak and other functionaries of the party.
The inauguration of the work of construction of lanes and drains in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh colony of Karawal Nagar was held Monday morning in the middle of residents of the colony. All the 90-lanes and 180-drains to be constructed are in the Shaheed Bhagat Singh colony.
Once constructed the work will benefit a population of around 12,000 in the area. The work of construction has started and will be completed by December 2019.
Sh. Satyendar Jain and Sh. Durgesh Pathak also took out a padyatras in the area after inaugurating the work. They talked to the residents of the area and detailed them about the work being carried out.
The construction of the lanes and drains are in line with the core agenda of the AAP government to improve the condition in all such colonies of Delhi which never got attention of the previous governments.
“Kejriwal government is very clear on providing basic amenities to the people of Delhi. Huge population residing in various colonies of Delhi were neglected by the previous governments. However, since AAP came to power the Chief Minister has been getting works of basic amenities in all colonies of Delhi done. AAP is of the view that every resident of Delhi should get a decent life with good surrounding,” said Sh. Pathak after the inauguration.
Sh. Pathak also ensured the people that all work will be monitored closely for quality and timeline purposes. “In case any of you come to know any discrepancy or shoddy work, please inform me. I will get it rectified,” said Sh. Pathak.
