दलित समाज को जानबूझकर सत्तर साल विकास से दूर रखा गया। आप की सरकार ने पांच साल में इस समाज को मुख्यधारा से जोड़ा। विकास की चाभी बस शिक्षा है। जिसे दिल्ली सरकार ने बिल्कुल मुफ्त कर दिया है। मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने यह बात लाल किले में महर्षि वाल्मीकि की जयंती पर कही। जिसका आयोजन महर्षि वाल्मीकि जन्मोत्सव कमेटी की ओर से किया गया था। इस दौरान आप नेता प्रह्लाद साहनी, रोहित मेहरौलिया भी मौजूद थें।
अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा कि भगवान वाल्मीकि ऐसे व्यक्ति थें, जिन्होंने भगवान राम के पुत्रों लव-कुश को शिक्षा दी। इससे उनकी महानता को आसानी से समझा जा सकता है। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर हम भगवान वाल्मीकि को आदर्श मानते हैं तो हमें पढ़ाई पर जोर देना होगा। दलित समाज को जानबूझकर सत्तर साल शिक्षा से दूर रखा गया। बाकी पार्टी के लोग चाहते थें दलित समाज के लोग सफाई कर्मी बनें। अब मेरा सपना है कि वाल्मीकि समाज के बच्चों को डाक्टर-इंजीनियर-वकील बनाया जाए। जो बात भगवान वाल्मीकि ने कही वहीं बाबा साहेब आंबेडकर ने कही। दोनों ने कहा विकास की चाभी शिक्षा में है। इसी कारण अन्य पार्टियों ने सरकारी स्कूल की हालत खराब की।
प्रण लें, अपने बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा देंगे
अब यह प्रण लेना चाहिए कि हम भी अपने बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा देंगे। पहले दिल्ली के सरकारी स्कूलों की हालत खस्ता थी। पिछले पांच सालों में उसे आप की सरकार में निजी स्कूलों जैसा कर दिया गया है। अब आपका एक रुपया भी नहीं लगता और बच्चों को अच्छी शिक्षा मिल रही है। बारहवी तक शिक्षा फ्री कर दी। एक वकील ने आरके पुरम डीपीएस से अपने बच्चे का नाम कटाकर सरकारी स्कूल में लिखवाया। अब अमीर-गरीब के बच्चे साथ पढ़ रहे।
दलित समाज का बच्चा मेडिकल, इंजीनियरिंग या किसी की तैयारी के लिए कोचिंग करना चाहता है, उसके कोचिंग का सारा खर्च दिल्ली सरकार उठाएगी।
जय भीम मुख्यमंत्री योजना में मुफ्त कोचिंग
जय भीम योजना के तहत हमने दर्जी के बेटे विजय के कोचिंग का सारा खर्च उठाया। उसका दाखिला आइआइटी में हो गया। मेरे बेटे का दाखिला भी आइआइटी में हुआ। अब दोंनो बच्चे साथ साथ पढ़ रहे।बेटी शशि भी दलित समाज की है। उसका भी दाखिला हो गया। मेरा सपना है दलित समाज के बच्चों को डाक्टर-इंजीनियर बनाओ। आज आपलोग को पैसे की कमी नहीं होगी। जितना पैसा लगेगा, मेरे पास आना। दिल्ली सरकार ने यह भी इंतजाम किया है कि दलित समाज के बच्चे सिविल सेवा या किसी भी कंप्टीशन की तैयारी करना चाहते हैं, बड़े से बड़े कोचिंग सेंटर में शिक्षा हम दिलाएंगे।
वाल्मीकि समाज फिर दिल्ली में केजरीवाल को लाएगा।
विधायक अजय दत्त ने कहा कि दलित समाज को जितना अरविंद केजरीवाल ने किया, उतना किसी ने नहीं दिया। अरविंद केजरीवाल सरकार ने एनडीएमसी के लोगों को पक्की नौकरी दी। दिल्ली में अरविंद केजरीवाल ने वाल्मीकि समाज से मंत्री बनाया। लोकसभा का टिकट दिया। वाल्मीकि समाज के लोग जब भी सीएम के पास जाते हैं, वह मदद करते हैं। हमारे लोग सरकारी स्कूल और अस्पताल में जाते हैं। उसकी हालत सुधार कर हमारे समाज की मदद की। जहां अरविंद केजरीवाल का पसीना बहेगा, वाल्मीकि समाज का खून बहेगा। वाल्मीकि समाज दिल्ली में फिर केजरीवाल को लाएगा।
Valmiki Community had been purposefully deprived of opportunities by other parties: CM Arvind Kejriwal

New Delhi, 13 October: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday joined the celebrations for Valmiki Jayanti at Lal Quila. Addressing the members of the community present at the program in large numbers, CM Kejriwal said that the Valmiki community has been kept devoid of quality life and development by previous governments in the past 70 years. AAP MP ND Gupta, MLA Ajay Dutt, East Delhi MCD Leader of Opposition Rohit Mehrauliya were also present at the program.
CM Kejriwal said, “Lord Valmiki is the most knowledgeable and enlightened soul in the history of mankind. He has authored the original Ramayan, and his greatness can be understood by the fact that he has been a guru to Lord Rama’s children Luv and Kush. If a person wants to gain enlightenment and knowledge, he should worship Lord Valmiki.”
Political parties have ignored the progress of Valmiki community: CM Kejriwal
The Chief Minister said that his government is the only government that has worked toward the progress of the Valmiki community. He also said that all the previous governments had deliberately worsened the condition of government schools because their children were anyway studying in expensive private schools.
“Other political parties have always wanted Valmiki children to become cleaners and sanitation workers. AAP government is the first government to work in the interest of the community. I dream of seeing Valmiki students become doctors and engineers,” said CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Free education for all, Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Yojana a significant initiative for Dalit students: CM Arvind Kejriwal
The Chief Minister said, “After passing out of schools, many brilliant children want to become doctors and engineers, but they cannot study further because of a lack of financial resources. Preparations from coaching institutions for competitive examinations after 12th standard generally means spending lakhs of rupees. To benefit the Dalit communities, the Delhi government will now bear the cost of his entire education after 12th. Recently, Vijay has been admitted to IIT-Delhi along with my child. His father is a tailor and his mother is a domestic help. Under the Jai Bhim Mukhyamantri Yojana, the Delhi government will provide financial support to Dalit students for higher education. Thus, the education of your children is our responsibility now. You need not worry about their education, we will provide quality education to your children.”
Results of Delhi government schools better than private schools: CM Arvind Kejriwal
Addressing the audiences on the occasion of Valmiki Jayanti, CM Arvind Kejriwal said that the results of the Delhi government schools are even better than the private schools. He also said that children, no matter whatever community he belongs to, will be studying in the same school and same class together.
“We have achieved excellent results, which are even better than private schools. I met a Supreme Court advocate recently, his child was studying in DPS RK Puram. He told me that he has admitted his child to a new Delhi government school which has opened near his residence. Now children of any community, whether rich or poor, will be studying in the same school together,” said the Chief Minister.
CM Arvind Kejriwal will become the epitome of good governance across India: MLA Ajay Dutt
AAP MLA Ajay Dutt said that the AAP government is the only government to have supported the Valmiki community in the past 70 years. He said, “CM Arvind Kejriwal has always supported the Valmiki community. The AAP government is the only government to have elected a minister from the Valmiki government. They have granted financial assistance of Rs 10 lakhs for the deaths of sanitation workers inside sewers. For the first time, Valmiki community committees have also been granted financial assistance of Rs 50,000, to celebrate the auspicious occasion of Valmiki Jayanti. Arvind Kejriwal Ji is the only chief minister to have worked towards the progress of the Valmiki community, whether in the fields of health, education, power, water, etc. I am sure that Arvind Kejriwal Ji will win the Delhi elections.”
