Probe DDA decision to allow pvt mobile towers in residential areas

The Aam Aadmi Party demands a probe into the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) decision to allow installation of atleast 450 private telecom towers in its parks in residential areas across the national capital.

The AAP has received complaints from residents of Dwarka that in atleast 45 neighbourhood parks of the area, DDA granted permission to Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited on October 31 to set-up mobile telecom towers and the installation work has been started. The AAP demands that the central government should immediately order a probe into why the DDA rushed through this controversial decision without consulting the residents of the area.
