Every five years we, the people of Delhi, exercise our franchise to elect a government that would provide us good governance and be accountable to us. However, the power to take the most crucial decisions that affect our day to day life is vested with unelected bureaucrats. Blinded by power, the BJP led central government has been murdering democracy in Delhi day in and day out. Delhi deserves full statehood and every single party worth its salt in the country has at one point or the other supported this demand. Some of those who in the past assured us that Delhi will be a full state are today blatantly disregarding the will of the people of Delhi.
